How can you tell if your bookings are linked?
sandebeach replied to jerick's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Interesting. We were on Liberty in March and booked as myself and a girl friend in one room, and then the husbands in another room. We linked the cruises when we booked, and both rooms showed up on my app. -

On the app it should show your cruise and underneath it will be the cruise that you are linked with. -

I love the purple! Very pretty and I bet they are easy to find amidst a "sea of luggage". -
Rock hard beds on Wonder's junior suites?
sandebeach replied to Florida Glamazon's topic in Royal Caribbean International
We had a junior suite on Wonder in March and the mattress felt fine, not too hard and not too soft. -

Thanks so much for your review and tips on each port. Just booked this cruise for next May, your review was very informative. -
Odyssey of the Seas walk-off
sandebeach replied to burger40's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Two weeks ago walkoffs started at 6:45. We had an airport transfer and we left at 7:30. -
We did an RCI excursion, Panoramic Ephesus because we were getting tired, and it was good. But if I ever come back, I would book a tour that included Mary’s house. Several people I talked to did private tours and they also had positive experiences.

Odyssey may not go to to Ashdod Israel tomorrow
sandebeach replied to sandebeach's topic in Royal Caribbean International
I am not expecting any but it will be interesting to see if Royal offers us any compensation, like perhaps discounts on our Greek islands excursions. I would like to also give a shoutout to the awesome casino bar staff who were expecting three days off. They have been busy in the casino this evening!! -
Odyssey may not go to to Ashdod Israel tomorrow

Waiting to see what the Excursion desk is able to arrange, since Odyssey does Greek Isles next cruise, they at least already have contacts in place. And I commend Shore Excursion staff, they have been great when faced with all these changes. -
Odyssey may not go to to Ashdod Israel tomorrow
sandebeach replied to sandebeach's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Thanks everybody. Santorini is my favorite Greek island but I am still disappointed in missing Jerusalem. -
Odyssey may not go to to Ashdod Israel tomorrow
sandebeach replied to sandebeach's topic in Royal Caribbean International
So disappointed. We had to leave the ship and go through the terminal to clear Immigration in Haifa. Got our visa “gate pass” and returned to the ship. Everyone had to clear Immigration before the ship could reposition and move over to the regular dock. Suddenly they stopped calling group numbers to proceed to Immigration. My husband was wondering what was going on when the Captain announced that, due to the increasing geopolitical situation, Royal did not feel we were safe in Israel. We are leaving in an hour, having a sea day while we head over to Santorini and Crete. I am so disappointed. -
A Question for Cruises in the Med? No spirits!!
sandebeach replied to Krydstosser's topic in Royal Caribbean International
We left out of Civitavecchia on Monday on Odyssey. There were no signs anywhere that you could not purchase spirits. -
Odyssey may not go to to Ashdod Israel tomorrow
sandebeach replied to sandebeach's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Captain has just announced that, due to the geopolitical situation in Gaza, we will go to Haifa instead of Ashdod. They are working to see if they can reschedule our tours because he said it is safe to go to Jerusalem and Bethlehem. My fingers are crossed! -

Any weather related disruptions in Florida?
sandebeach replied to ticketsunlimited's topic in Florida Departures
We had a good day today with sunshine! Airport has re-opened and Port Evergades posted Thursday on FB that the port was open. This afternoon I saw Liberty sailing out of the port channel, so appears that the Port is ok for cruising. The Tortuga Concert on the Beach is scheduled to start tonight, so beach traffic may be a little congested. -
Mason Jar Brunch on Wonder
sandebeach replied to Weluv2cruise2gether's topic in Royal Caribbean International
We had dinner at Mason Jar two weeks ago and enjoyed it. It was 6 PM the first night and the place was busy. -

Today is the first day since Monday that the sun is shining on Ft. Lauderdale Beach! Our Ft. Lauderdale mayor has issued a State of Emergency. Residents have been asked to stay off the roads unless absolutely needed, because there are so many roads flooded and also blocked with cars that flooded and need to be towed off the streets.
