    I did the Quantum Transpacific in October, from Honolulu to Brisbane. Spent my birthday on Tahiti, beautiful island and we saw whales (mother and baby) on our catamaran excursion. No visa needed. We did need visas for Australia. From Australia we cruised to New Zealand, and we needed a visa for New Zealand. We applied for them online.

    How do you get into your cabin before they let you into cabins, usually around 1-1:30 PM? The corridor doors are closed to the cabin hallway. Or do you buy the Key and drop off your suitcases in the MDR?

    Just checked back on my cruises and Teppanyaki is back to the real price of $50+ per person for dinner. Still showing as reserved for my Wonder and Odyssey cruises, but Icon is no longer showing hibachi as a dinner choice. Thank you to the OP for so quickly letting us know about this deal so that we could book it while it lasted!

    Yes, it is on same side as Squeeze, so port side.

    We are on the Odyssey TA in April, was just notified of a change in itinerary. We will be going to Valencia instead of Alicante. I am doing B2B for the Holy Lands cruise, but no changes so far.

    I am on Icon September 2024 and I was able to book Hibachi at the sale price!!

    Thanks for posting this. I just booked for our Wonder cruise and also for Odyssey TA.

    December in Harmony, they had a waiter with a guitar and a portable speaker amp, singing and playing in our section of the MDR. I applaud them trying to showcase crew talent, but I did not need that with my dinner.

    We were on the Quantum in November. Had a junior suite and the mattress was fine.

    I was only able to do this when I traveled Star class.

    If you and your wife both have offers, each book a room on that cruise and then, as a solo, you would get two points per night.

    We usually make our Coastal Kitchen reservations for the week, when the concierges send an email about a week before sailing requesting any reservations that you would like them to make. I imagine it will be the same on Icon. And no, at least since Covid times, CK usually cannot be booked on the website or on the app.

    We found it one day, in the back wall of the seaplex. But we had a bit of a struggle making it work. Had to keep pushing the button.

    Yes, Holland America is one of those cruise lines, you can not use your OBC in the casino or for gratuities. But it is fine to use your OBC in the casino on Royal.

    We just got the email for our Transatlantic in April. Not surprised, it was the same for our Transpacific last October.

    I was on the Voyager transatlantic and we did not have to get tickets for the Ice Show. I think it was just first-come, first-served.
