In this case, I’m afraid that you’re just wasting your time complaining so many times about the same things. Whose attention you are trying to bring it to? As they say: Love it or leave it.

Nobody wants to lose their port time or anything else for the matter, but I think that no amount of complaining here will affect Oceania business decisions. Why book so many cruises with them if you aren’t satisfied. You won’t get anything changed, maybe just cookies. Just book something that you know you will like better.

I believe that SM would make financial sense for Oceania only if everyone pays this price for the future bookings. If they offer lower price without package for some the SM price should go up for others. Obviously, it’s not something that Oceania is looking to do.

Some mid range hotels, think Comfort Inn or similar, offered FREE shuttle to the port of Miami at least when we cruised last November. If you don’t want to stay in such accommodation, then the price for the Uber to the port isn’t that bad either. Not worth it to return to the airport with your luggage and chase O representative for a free shuttle in my opinion.

If you want to stay in the hotel near Miami airport some of the hotels there provide free shuttle to the port.

It’s a lot of discussion about coffee. Actually, we have tried Nespresso and not just once. We still strongly prefer freshly ground coffee from the espresso machine that we use. Besides, we don’t drink flavored coffee of any sorts which Nespresso is offering in their pods that also often have been stored for a long time before we get to drink it. Everyone’s taste is subjective. BTW, when we are traveling the coffee is important but it’s also just a small part of enjoyment among all the other aspects.

It seems that everyone has their own story about COVID. What’s important most indicated mild symptoms or no symptoms at all. Still people got quarantined that wasn’t the case with the respiratory illnesses before. We, like many others, were affected by the viruses being on the ship and tried to avoid contacts with other people when we were sick.The good practice is to be responsible and minimize the spread of the viruses when one doesn’t feel well. But let’s not ruin the cruise industry again over the fear of getting sick when traveling.

No, ours are not combined in the GV. That is why I posted my question about B2B. And it’s more attractive to us to book them this way. BTW, the new 2025 release is showing many B2B sailings that aren’t the part of any GV.

Oceania IT department just shined again. Looks like they removed newly released cruises from the website at this moment. I just placed an order with our TA to book two B2B cruises on the Vista. Hopefully, everything will be back soon without any changes.

We have Onboard Booking Certificate that we’d like to apply on one of the Back to Back cruises. Anyone from their experience please tell me how it will work. Will it be possible to get both BTB discount and onboard booking discount for one of the cruises? I’ll ask our TA but also appreciate any information from experts on this board. Well, we live near LA - can fly to Cabo for a couple of hundred dollars.

I think that Oceania would be very expensive means of transportation from LA to Cabo if you just want to get there and eat Mexican food ashore.

I’d look at the total price of the cruise and compare it to the other line’s offerings. If Oceania cruise is priced favorably I would not think much about inclusions.

Well, breaking any of the rules that you mentioned would never demonstrate the best behavior. Some of them would affect more than others the enjoyment of those around you on the ship.

The rules are what they are for. Most will understand. But if you decide not to follow it’s most likely no one on Oceania ships will stop you for this particular one.

Package specified “with lunch and dinner only”. You always can have a bottle of wine in your cabin to drink without paying a corkage fee.

Yes, I have tried both Lavazza and Illy… and some other brands. We’re very particular about our coffee and prefer to buy it as fresh as possible from the small batch roasters locally. Also, we don’t use Nespresso pods. And by the way, I think here in US Illy brand is more expensive to buy and many people would prefer it over Lavazza.

If any course that you order will be not to your liking let your server know and they will gladly replace it with something else.

Probably not for the person who is trying to stay asleep early in the morning and not wanting to get to the first tender ashore.
