Getting on the list when you get on board is great but I would also check daily to see if it's become available. It has happened for me a couple of times. Glad you are adding an experience to your bucket list and know you will enjoy it!

We will be on the Jade and my sister may go with us. We would be the first 2 on the reservation so she wouldn't have the free dinners or could we add the specialty dining upgrade for her to have the 2 meals? Are Teppanyaki, Moderno and La Cucina are the same price or if not what are they or where can I find this information? I believe Cagney's is a-la-carte.

DH carries one that he was given and says it's for good luck. I tell him to use it to buy a lottery ticket and we will see how lucky it is!

Are you able to go on the tour if you use a rollator or foldup scooter?

Yes, they are the same in the haven and I like it that way as it gives me something to hold onto while I nibble on it. 😋

You will need to have pictures of yourself to download. Take pictures of head and shoulder against a white wall (ours is a very pale blue). Take quite a few as it may accept one but when I checked hubby and I it took my third picture and hubby's 9th. You will need to have your passport handy as you will need to put the passport number in. Other than that it's just your names/address/phone # and also an emergency contact name/address/phone#. Takes about 10/15 min. depending on photo and other glitches. If you want an early boarding time do it at midnight (eastern time) on the day it becomes available.

I think CC needs to put another icon other than like/haha/and trophy. More and more I am seeing things that I don't like and this is one of them. Really... how much could those little beans count - question for the bean counters? Keep going and you may not have any to count at some point when people say ENOUGH! I am still looking forward to our upcoming Gem cruise in a couple weeks but depending on how it goes I may cancel the next two and I am a Sapphire customer. Even though I know other cruise lines probably are not much different within the price range I'm willing to spend so it will be a tough decision.

Oh, sorry I wasn't clear in what I was looking for as I just wanted to know if they had the little trams or pedicabs from the ship into the port. If you or anyone else has this info that would be appreciated so that we can be prepared to either find those or just amble our way in. We are also going to Magan's bay beach but I think we will opt for a private cab as we have a walker we need to take and that ride sounds a bit much to keep us and it in the van. 😝 This is the port we are most looking forward to as that beach looks wonderful! It had been a pretty long walk just from the Gem to the end of the pier and the entrance to the Taino Bay complex, and the hot sun did not help. On our way back to the Gem, we discovered there was a free shuttle service – little three-wheeled tuk-tuks being driven back and forth from the ship to the entrance of the complex. Please tip the driver. 🙂 Thank you so much for this info. hubby and I can walk but have mobility issues so can't walk too far. We are going here as well as Bermuda, San Juan, Phillipsburg, St. Thomas and Tortola so could you tell me what those ports will be like as well?

In what way are they being mistreated? I didn't know that they are being mistreated and that's horrible. I would never want to do this if that's the case I will look at the pedicab as if they are mistreating themselves it's their choice.

While we are in NY we would like to get a buggy ride through CP and was wondering about how much will it cost? Do they take you through the whole park and let you get out for pictures? I will either be using a collapsible rollator or scooter will that be a problem?

Ok, but how does the TA make money off of this? I have an AE card that I opened to get airmiles with Delta so could I get this perk or would I have to have a NCL perks program with AE? Couldn't you just used the AE card when booking with CAS?

I have a TA that I really love and she used to be an NCL PCC and would love to work with her again but I book through CAS to get great discounts/comped cabin. But I'm not understanding why I would get any discounts/perks by transferring a reservation to her agency if they/she wouldn't get any commission? Wouldn't that mean that they would lose money?
