  1. Is there a Texas Hold 'em table with live players that is open regularly on Regal?
  2. Easy...... There was nothing I liked about Carnival.
  3. If I'm not mistaken, these would have to be Club Class Mini-suites (mid-ship).
  4. I guess it depends on if you like Carnival. To us there is not really a comparison.... will never cruise on Carnival.
  5. Where is the covered pool on the Regal? I don't see one.
  6. Just used for the 1st time on our upcoming cruise to Caribbean. Got a really good price for 1st class from Sacramento to Fort Lauderdale. We always go a day early to make sure there are no problems. As far as hotels, it really depends on what you want, how close to the port, and what you want to pay. We stay in one of the 17th Street hotels, but they are pricey.
  7. While the weather could be anything, our September cruise to Alaska was great weather. Plan to do September again!
  8. This is one of our bucket list cruises. We had it booked several years ago then our son decided he was getting married around the same time. Had to cancel and never re-booked. The price has gone up considerably!
  9. We always do the Plus package and don't think that the Premium is worth the extra. We are very happy with the $12 drinks and have no interest in the "prize" package.
  10. Yes, thanks, I have seen this. It does show that #7-14 are closer to the beach. Talked to someone who had #8 and said it was a great location, close to bathrooms, food and drink. We have been to HAL's Half Moon Cay many times and had cabanas, so we do have our favorites there. Was hoping to hear from Princess folks as to their favorite on Princess Cays.
  11. Has anyone had #8? I've heard that this is a very desirable location.
  12. Can anyone tell me if you are able to select your bungalow or is it assigned? Thanks!
  13. Does anyone know if Princess has finally started having the "zero sugar" products? Like Coke Zero Sugar? Specifically on Regal.
  14. Is there a butler service option, similar to what HAL offers on Half Moon Cay Cabanas?
  15. Yes, very poor marketing practice. I did the same as most of you. Already booked Plus for our upcoming cruise then received this email. The email specifically identified our booking number. You would think that their marketing department algorithm would know what is in your cruise.
  16. From pics I saw at another website it does not look like 4180 has much of a cover.
  17. We are on a B2B cruise on Regal in February (the 19th). At some point before they begin general boarding for the 2nd part of the cruise, all continuing passengers will gather in a specified area and be taken off the ship into the terminal. They must "zero out" all passengers before they can start boarding. After a brief period you will be led back onto the ship. We pretty much always just relax by the pool or the Thermal Suite/Enclave (we usually book this as well). You could also do an excursion if you desire.
  18. Absolutely, in my younger days and in special circumstances, could do 3 times that amount and still walk straight!
  19. Totally agree. Have done 2 as well and planning to do again on our upcoming cruise. I wonder if they have updated the recipe book. We have 2 identical, with the exceptions to the "autographs".
  20. I have never used them in the past but thought I would try for our upcoming cruise. I was able to book 1st class (Sacramento - Fort Lauderdale, round trip) for HALF the cost of the lowest discount fare I could find. So far, GREAT!
