Thanks for the info, really helps. Based on everything we've seen #10 looks like the best choice. Since we will be visiting Princess Cays twice on our cruise we have the cabana reserved for the 2nd visit. That should give us time to hopefully be able to secure #10 when we board.
Do you eat at a table by yourselves so you can do this? I know I would have a problem if someone did something like that at a table where we were sitting....
I don't know what you consider "old" but Regal is 8 years old. That's pretty "young" in terms of cruise ships. As far as size, the S4 suite is about 330 square feet with a balcony of about 70 square feet. There is a special section of a dining room reserved for suite and club class mini-suite guests.
I saw the post in the Ruby thread.... $165 per shot of the Macallan Oscuro. Going retail price averages about $2000 for a 750 ml bottle so we know they are paying a lot less than that. Given that there are approximately 15 shots in 750 ml bottle they are generating about $2500 per bottle. Not a bad profit margin!
Anyone with recent Regal experience, have they re-opened the Crab Shack? They had it before but was closed for a while and have not seen anything recent if it's re-opened. Thanks!
Any idea which bottle this was? I'm a Macallan drinker and I have seen a bottle of Double Cask, 30 year old going for about $5700 per bottle, and a Sherry Oak 25 year old for around $3000. I've never had anything like this and probably never will!
How do you order the Gourmet Picnic Lunch at Princess Cays? We already have a cabana reserved. Can it be done before the cruise or do we need to do so at the excursion desk after boarding? Thanks!
#3 cabana (Turquoise) has always been our favorite. Great location to everything. Have booked it numerous times.
Sorry, just noticed you were asking about the Villas, not cabana.
Regular cabana, the Sanctuary is too far away and saw no real advantage. I've read the reviews and did a search... found nothing. That's why I asked the question.
This Feb will be our 1st time on Princess Cays. We have had numerous cruises on HAL to Half Moon and have always booked a Cabana. We have booked a Cabana on our upcoming cruise and wanted to know if Princess offered a "butler" service similar to HAL. I could find nothing in the excursions that talked about this.
Looking forward to our 1st Princess Cays visit. Thanks for the info!
