Yes of course, $22.99. I was getting mixed-up with another fee.
My mistake also, I thought it was $23.99! I wasn’t going to activate but we did use it for ordering coffees etc in Hollywood Conservatory. We didn’t have the package and purchased wine and I was actually glad, as with mini bar set up, we had ample alcohol. I might add prices have gone up dramatically since our last cruise on Princess in October 2022 for very poor quality wines. In the end we found better value with purchasing a bottle.

I think I know the answer to this but I thought I'd ask anyway. Does a guest have access to a microwave anywhere on the ship? Buffet perhaps? Sky Princess if that makes a difference.
I know heating pads are prohibited so if there was access to a microwave I could bring one of those bags you throw in the microwave and heat up with me on the cruise for my aching back.
Hot water bottle works a treat.

Just to note, the Ocean Now ordering does work with standard fares as well, but you pay a $30 one-off activation fee.
Now we have just completed a cruise, I have switched to the new app. No issues at all.
We paid $24 on Majestic last week on standard fare. I only activated one. Also on the new app and even though husbands DOB is still incorrect all other information is there and correct.

But if you booked after Dec 2022 you would have been booking under the new conditions so wouldn't be eligible for the OBC surely?
I think it depends on the date for 2022. We booked early December 2022 and not eligible for new package, but did get the extra OBC for Sydney to Yokohama cruise.

That sucks. How long was your cruise? Hope your symptoms are mild
Only 7 days, which was surprising. I don’t have it yet, but husband does…..nothing is mild with DH😩

The Coral P4incess came in yesterday (Thursday) and they started disembarking passengers at 6.30, but doesn’t always happen
Same with us today Bob, very early before 6.30am, but doesn’t always happen.

Not sure why Majestic would miss the early departure time. We arrived by 5.30am and left before 7 and many were off well before us. I must say our departure from the ship was handled very well.

Thanks for replies.
Will try guest services but hold very little hope of scoring the $25!
Hopefully no covid for us! After reading your post in theatre and couple coughing behind us, decided to mask up.
Supposed to sail at 4pm, but still tied up at circular quay at 7.30!
We took all precautions. No tendering, no buffets and no crowds. Take care, but enjoy your holiday.

Boarded Majestic today.
Recently received an email from Princess re guests to receive $25AUD regional spending credit for Plus/Premier package guests who booked before 14 December 2022 (package price rise date) to compensate for new changes to inclusions announced July 2023. The email also states guests on standard fares will receive this credit but it's a bit ambiguous if the 14 December 2022 date applies to those on standard.
Has anyone on standard booked after December date but before announcement of inclusion changes received this $25 credit once on board?
We left Majestic today. Definitely no $25 credit! Majestic once again give us something else again though……Covid!.

Great, thanks Geoff. Wanting to visit family and tending has proved disastrous in the past.
Husband just reminded me that getting there is the next problem. This year with cyclone we didn’t make it and this cruise is in January 😩🤔

Yes, dock. Same LOA and width as Encounter & Adventure who have been docking in Cairns.
Great, thanks Geoff. Wanting to visit family and tending has proved disastrous in the past.

Hi all,
Currently on board Majestic Princess and looking at booking a cruise on Crown Princess. It says we dock in Cairns, but I am not sure. Definitely won’t book if we go to Yorkeys Knob? The size of Crown looks like it is similar to Diamond Princess, so could be ok! Any thoughts.?

Not really, that I’m concerned about. Some other people where chatting about it on the blog that only Pinnacles get those little badges.(who cares)
A couple of things I noticed there’s some coffee discounts at the coffee shop and some extra discounts on glasses of wine or beer. 2 per cruise each ,instead of one .
And something about bingo ?
Also looks like no free wash and fold bags, although I have never used that service.
EDIT my mistake it is still there!

I’m on edge in two weeks.
Originally it was port Arthur for a full day and then 2 full days in Hobart.
Now it’s Eden and arrive in Hobart in the evening ,then a night there and leaving the next day. Two sea days back to Sydney.

I'll be on the Grand in a couple of weeks which stops in Hobart overnight. We arrive about 8.30 pm. Is there anything worth seeing if I get off the ship at that time of night? Pretty lights? I'm booked on the full day tour down to Bruny Is the next day so wont be visiting the city centre but have been there a few times before. TIA.
We are the same with Majestic leaving tomorrow. Arrive 8.30pm. In December on Brilliance we had 2 full days which was great.

If you have one of these cabins, shown in the video... the part of the balcony, which is the same amount of area as the standard balconies, is covered... but the extended part will be open/uncovered.
Best of both worlds, really.
Thanks just what I needed to know.

I only drink wine and have the plus package on one cruise……what price is the drink limit? Also ours is the old plus package if that makes any difference.

Sounds good.....hey qantas just gave us 30 bucks each for food...we are at the bar.
You just can't fly in the day of the cruise anymore
Small compensation for a long days travel but better than nothing!

There is a lift to get you up to the ticket office level - there is an entrance to it at the Circular Quay corner of the building - then escalators up to the next level. I believe they have made some changes inside the main part to provide easier access to those who need it but I'm not sure what that entails.
You are definitely right for access to the Opera House, but for the tour, there is unfortunately still stairs.
Now for something completely different
