How can it be a cut, if there was actually no French Toast, then the chances are that the person that wanted it would actually eat something else. That something else would also cost money, therefore no cost cutting involved.
So Davy Jones please open your locker and look outside the box :D
I don't see the exaggeration. It was worded as a question and it would be a cut if it had been elimated. -
The DJ in the Bionic bar is volume restricted, nobody actually dances in that area
I am not sure if it is thought that the DJ at the Bionic Bar on Harmony will just provide lounge music or if they will also have a dance floor. The text is not clear.•Bionic Bar on the Royal Promenade, featuring robot bartenders serving up one-of-a-kind crafted cocktails while dancing to a fluid beat
Even on the ships that had a proper night club, before they started removing them, they used to have Absolut Vodka sponsored clubs one night every week in the Solarium area, along with other events.
They had dance floors in Europe and were so popular they sometimes would have a second dance floor pool-side. The 'crowd' would then move down to the club for the late night.
They would sometimes have events for teens or families in the actual night club while these events were taking place.

And we have another entrant it the "Exaggerated Thread Title" Competition

Even the worlds best ever Club, would be rubbish if the people in there are not "Up for IT " so, this question is impossible to answer

I think the original "Ice Bar" idea was to copy that from the latest Celebrity Ships that have an Iced Top bar in the centrum as a Martini Bar. However that never happened, the 270 bar has a marble top not ice

Completely differently, the Captain does not have a fixed table. If he chooses to dine with guests, he chooses them and the which restaurant. Could be a speciality, one of the four, or Johnny Rockets. Other Officers have chosen to invite people to a private dinner in the closed section of the WJ ( sometimes those are the best as they are less formal, and real fun.
How does dinner with the Captain work with Dynamic Dining? -
Whilst I agree with you that it really is the best show seen on cruise ships, and I am sure many people would be pleased see this video. I also fail to understand why people cannot respect the copyright of the performers, and NOT video the show as requested before this or any other show even starts.
Also videoing of such length is distracting to other audience members around you
It was the best show I have ever seen at a cruise ship. Spectacular !!I can share a small vid:

I agree with Bobal :D
If you're docking in La Spezia, unless you have your heart set on Pisa/Florence you should consider visiting Cinque Terre - much closer and easier to do from Cinque Terre and really stunning scenery.Even with a 9 hour excursion you will spend a lot of that driving there and back if you visit Florence.

"like"
i wonder, if people sending emails to heads of cruiselines, also send similar emails to heads of resturant chains. Retailers and hotels. -
Really worth it, Wonderland is the best restaurant I have tried on any ship :D
Looking for people's thoughts on Wonderland. We are unsure if we should book it or not. Looked over the menu and it sounds interesting but is it worth the $45 pp cover charge? -
Most people are of the ship by 9.30 - 10 ish :(
Just filling in my cruise check in details and it is asking what time I would like to disembark on the last day. It's letting me put 12pm but surely they don't let you stay on board so late. -
Someone on board was looking at a very long transatlantic, but the power is definitely on again. Obviously the other thread about slow internet is wrong as this news has spread quickly
-
The satellite thing always gets me, whilst I have little knowledge of how such things work, I always get confused. Surely the satellite is thousands of miles up in the air, and apparently tracks the ship. So how the ship moving makes a different is beyond me, as it must be roughly the same distance away. Sure I understand the weather thing as we all ocassionally suffer from those issues.
I think it is more to do with the satellite they link to in the states is a different licence agreement to that in Europe or other areas.
I think you will get signal before Shanghai, as there will be other ports, but when connected to the ships signal, I think you will not be happy.

Lets just say that my opinion differs from those above

On that basis you could have paid a lot less and gone on a 7 night cruise with several cruise lines, Yes you would get what you paid for, but would you really want it !!!
............. I could have paid £150 less and gone on P&O and got what I paid for. -
Bingo :d:d
ok---fair enough -
Safe is one question.....Sensible is another.
I think you should be asking a doctor rather than a bunch of strangers on CC

I am sorry folks but I do not see what the big fuss is. Surely people booking a 3 night cruise is booking it as a sampler cruise. So the menus being used for these cruises are offering the best selection of the menus and food available. I have tried these menu's and found them to be really good. To those going relax and enjoy the ship, it is amazing.:D

Raimund is no longer HD, he got a well deserved promotion into a senior Head Office position. :D
................p.s. the two guys walking along look rather like the GSM - Adrian and the HD - Raimund. LOL

Unfortunately as various members of a crew get moved around as they open new ships, it is hard to say who is the best team. Usually you will have the best of the best on the newest ship. Many of the crew from Quantum recently got moved to Anthem, who have a brilliant take out crew. :D
-
And as you would expect, I will write one thanking them for the new benefit.
Although what is not really being considered here, is that the price of the new Internet has tumbled, to a much fairer price for all that want to use it :D
If I wanted to write a letter to someone at RCCL expressing my displeasure with the new policies, who would be the best person to address it to? Any recommendations? -
Liz, I was surprised to have not seen you on The Anthem, we missed you x
Royal Caribbean in the US are now aware of the situation. The proof is all out there for them to see. ;) -
Unfortunately this Poll will make little sense, as where we cruise or have cruised depends on the number of ships available in certain areas. It also does not reflect a time period as most will show the Caribbean as more ships have sailed in those waters over the last 20 years. than in other regions. I have could have ticked all boxes as have cruised all areas and others not listed.

Wonderland is Wonderful on The Anthem :D
Hi hoping that Anthem cruisers can help me with some information for our cruise this summer. First, I would love to hear reviews from anyone who has eaten at Wonderland. My husband and my anniversary is during our cruise and I am debating booking a specialty restaurant to celebrate, Wonderland sounded a little different so I was hoping for some first hand information before deciding whether to spend the money. We ate at Chops once on another ship and really enjoyed it but thought something new may be nice, and I was lucky enough to book Jamie's with our kids for later in the cruise before it went a la carte. Also, for the longer cruises I am curious whether the menus in the complimentary restaurants do switch midway through. Our anniversary is night 3 of our cruise and thinking maybe I should book the dinner another night around night 5 or 6 to avoid missing any of the menus (we are booked for classic dining). Thanks in advance!

This is a regular procedure when sailing in certain waters. The restriction on light emitting from the ship enables the lookouts to see any other small unwanted vessels approaching the ship. When we sailed in this area we had an additional drill called "Safe Haven" that actually needed to to enacted at one point.
