When you look at deck 6 and see the Fine Arts Gallery that is the side of Club Class dining in the Skagway dining room. You will be met at the door and then led to your table. Hope that helps. Never asked for scones for the suite breakfast, but that would be good.

You scared me there for a minute also!!! LOL Got those e-mails today also and honestly didn't read them closely since I knew from CC the ports had been changed. But when you wrote Miami it had me going for a minute. We have everything booked for FLL. Agree with the proofreading also.

Chef's Dinner menu is always different. Wonder what the regular night menu's look like.

I had to download Chrome also to be able to access my account on my laptop. Firefox and Safari both give me that message. Now oddly my husband can access it with Firefox without any trouble. Makes no sense. Have had this problem for months now. Chrome works fine.

We disembarked the Discovery Princess on Jan 7 (Saturday) and did the walk off. We were off the ship starting right about 7:20. Our flight was at 11:20 AM flight out of LAX and made it with plenty of time to spare. Had a car scheduled to pick us up at 7:45 and we were at the airport by 8:30. I was a little concerned about making the flight since Delta kept changing the time on us. But so glad they did and we didn't have to wait until 2:00 which was our original flight time. LAX at the Delta counter was a madhouse. We had first class tickets so checking in our luggage was a bit quicker.

Thanks for the information about the Crown adding them. Guess we were lucky it didn't have them last May. Good to know. At least the Discovery didn't have them, yet!

We were just on the Discovery Princess in a PH suite and last October in an Owner's Suite and neither of these cabins had any motion lights. I was happy about that. Wondering, other than the Majestic, what other Princess ships have them? The Crown Princess didn't have them either last May.

Wish I could tell you for sure which day it was. Was thinking on our cruise it was Thursday but I see another poster said on theirs it was Wednesday. Sorry I can't be specific on the day.

That is interesting they get the feedback so quickly. So happy to hear that. We always send back the surveys right away to send positive feedback. Everyone works so hard and yes it does make a huge difference for them. Nice to get the large table in Sabatini's. When we had dinner a few weeks ago we were along the window area where the tables are right next to each other. I know all about the couple's plans next to us for the Europe trip they were going to book. No we weren't part of the conversation. Just not a nice relaxing dining experience. Very disappointing. Service was great which was a plus. We met a couple from CC also at the Fiesta. I knew he would be on the cruise and was thrilled to meet them. Largin, if you are reading this it was such a nice occasion spending time with you. Congrats on your win from entering your cabin! Nice surprise.

We thought they did a really nice job on the Fiesta Party. The snacks were quite good and so were the margaritas. Was a nice time.

Thanks for posting the pictures of the S4 suite. We have this category for our Christmas and New Years cruises. The Owners Suite was wonderful, but will be nice not being at the aft of the ship this time. Sounds like Sur La Mer will be our first night dinner. Wasn't impressed with the Crown Grill last time though my husband loves that Black and Blue French Onion soup. The filet looks wonderful. Have a great trip.

Have tried Firefox, Chrome, Safari and also my iPhone. Get the same message when trying to find a pricing or availability for a full suite. Been like this now for a few seeks. Very frustrating. Works if want to look at a mini or lower category's. Nothing that has been suggested works for me. Had to contact my TA for her to let me know what was available for a cruise we were looking at. Good luck!

Same also. Trying to look at suites and I keep getting the Technical Difficulties message. Absolutely nothing suggested makes a difference. Also have tried on Firefox, Safari, Chrome, iPhone, etc. Always the same message. This started 2 weeks ago. Very frustrating.

Funny Thor said the wifi wasn't terrible. My guess is he hasn't been on the ship, because it is terrible. Staff knows it is terrible also. Glad you have something to help with it. Will be curious about 360 also. We did have the Silverado Sauv Blanc in the Concierge Lounge every evening. I know they had other wine bottles there but honestly I didn't look to see what they were. Agree, about the wine. We won't drink a lot of the wine they offer either. Just can't do it!!! LOL Admitted wine snobs also.

Interesting with 2 Vanessa's! We will be on the ship again at Christmas and Mirela told us she will be there at that time. Vanessa Hale will be leaving to go home on Dec. 17. Funny we hardly used our Plus package on the cruise also. The Mexican Fiesta evening was nice with very tasty treats. Margaritas were also quite good. Better than what we have gotten at the bars on the ships. I have to say we were disappointed with Sabatini's on this ship. It just doesn't have the ambiance at all the other ships have. It is sort of uninviting and felt cheap to me. Even table cloths would make a difference. The service was alright it just didn't feel like the same experience. I think we will try Club Class for breakfast on the next cruise. Definitely won't be going to Sabatini's for dinner again though. Internet is certainly an issue.

We were in one of the Owner's Suites and not the Sky Suite. It was booked when we decided on the cruise. But anyone in a full suite can go to the Concierge Lounge. We talked quite a bit to Vanessa and Mirela when nobody was in there. They are extremely nice and helpful. It is such a nice place for drinks in the evening. You are well taken care of. You will be given a card (like the old cruise cards) to be able to access the lounge. I'm sure you will hear from one of them soon.

We were on the Discovery 2 weeks ago for the CA Coastal. Vanessa and Mirela are both so nice. You will like both of them so much, I'm sure. The Concierge Lounge is such a nice addition. We used it quite often during happy hour. Vanessa is the Suite Experience Concierge and Mirela is the Suite Experience Manager. The internet on the ship is very spotty and the worst at times. Vanessa and I commented several times how bad it is, so that could be why you haven't heard from them yet. The ship is beautiful. Have a great cruise.

We were on the Discovery a week ago and had Club Class dining. The whole experience was excellent. The staff is so good and made every meal something to look forward to. I have nothing but positive things to say about it. Look forward to being back on the ship in December had dining there. You will enjoy it too, I'm sure. Yes Skagway dining room and closed on port days for lunch, like others said. Have a great cruise.

No indication why the internet is so bad on the Discovery. It just seems to be the way it is and accepted from what I could tell. Honestly we have never had it this bad except when we were in the North Sea off of Norway several years ago. At least with the CA Coastal we were in port several days and I could then just use my phone off the ship to catch up on e-mail, etc.

We were on the cruise last week also (CA Coastal). This was without a doubt the worst wifi I've ever encountered on any Princess ship. Basically worthless. The crew also talks about how bad it is also. Took my computer with me and never was able to use it, so hauled it for nothing. Honestly that was the only negative thing I can say about our cruise. Vanessa in the Concierge lounge told me that the ship was just shy at being full capacity.

Have loved reading your review and looking at your pictures. We are waiting anxiously for 2024 to show up for Norway. Good to know it may be next month sometime. Appreciate your information on that. Back in 2014 we did a Midnight Sun cruise on the Ocean Princess (Princess Cruises) that went to Svalbard. That was an interesting place. Will never forget all the signs about staying on the path and watching for polar bears. Was a place we won't forget. Thanks so much for your posts and pics! Susan
