Always the Champ!:)
-
Who will be next? Ruby or Westerdam?
-
Love to see all the people out on deck!:)
-
Caribbean Princess coming next and I see the Westerdam pushing away.....
What was that noise that sounded like somebody was sick or being tortured?
LOL,that is what we were wondering.....lot of strange chatter today. At least some movement with the LOTS. -
Thank you Jacqui! You do a great job and I appreciate it!
-
Enjoy your cruise!
:) -
I will be here to watch the extravaganza! It was so quiet and lonely watching the Royal Princess alone yesterday, without all of you. But at least I got to hear the Royal Princess serenade me with a few bars of "The Love Boat" theme.;)
Sorry to hear you could not sleep Kathi, but what a way to turn that into a positive....watching ships sail in.:)

Pat, thank you for your review. I am sorry that Cunard did not live up to your expectations, but glad you overall enjoyed your cruise. How in the world did you win $900 from the casino?;) What "games" did you play? (I need all the help I can get...lol)
Nothing more frustrating than when food does not inspire you or especially does not arrive as you request. We are not "foodies" but when I order things a certain way, I would expect it to arrive as requested.
Sometimes you can get a mediocre experience, but that doesn't mean they are all that way. I sincerely hope you will give Cunard another try in the future!:)

Kind of negates the whole purpose of an Electronic System for Travel Authorization, doesn't it?
I know...it's awful. When I went to the ESTA website it states, "DHS recommends you print this screen for your records but you will not be required to present a copy of your authorization in order to travel".(I highlighted). I had to print out a copy of that page too just in case I felt like showing it to Cunard at embarkation to prove a point.:p

LOL....I agree with your skepticism and glad you aired it out now before you board....;)

Departing on a QE cruise 2 weeks from today! I have read that all the ships are fitted with flat-screen TVs. Do the TVs in the cabins have a functionality that allows the passengers to view/track their onboard account and onboard spending?
Thanks
How exciting...have a great cruise!!!! No, the TV's are not interactive anymore although they were a few years ago, so I am told. It would be nice if they still were as it would save trips to the Purser's Desk.

Just been following Capnpug's B2B TA blog on QM2 and thought I would pass this on. He said that Cunard required a printed copy of his ESTA stating,
"it seems that our cousins have changed the rules and instructed the embarkation staff to view the document physically or they will fine Cunard $4,000."
Seems like we should receive an email or such from Cunard telling us this is a requirement so we don't have to scramble at check-in or onboard. Just in case though, I went to the US ESTA website, retrieved my application and printed it.

Bon Voyage! Have a great cruise!

Wishing I could be here, but alas I will still be at work:o........will be with you in spirit. Have fun!

Hi Jacqui, I was not sure if I could post to this thread if it was not an HAL cruise.
10 January 2015 on Cunard Queen Elizabeth World Cruise Segment Southampton to Hong Kong. Get to meet Scrapnana finally after following her wonderful blog earlier this year!:)

It would be a world cruise but longer because I would have to say, since I am "imagining" there would have to be an overnight or two or even three at every port! Am open to cruiseline as I have only been on two. Also, would like to include Alaska, Med, UK, Iceland, Canada, US, SA, Central America, Islands, Africa (have to wait for Ebola and pirates to fade....zzzzz), Black Sea area, maybe a bit of Asia, Antactica, did I miss any....lol.

Great Sailaway once again and thanks to Lou and Dave, Chief and the sailaway gang! Have a great night! See you next time!
-
Six ships, two of which are HAL ships plus the new Regal (maybe a Love Boat serenade?)! Should be good. See you then.
Sad that I miss those Sunday ones as it is already Monday here and I will be on my way home from work.:(
-
TTFN Chief! Thanks for being a great host! See you next time.

That was pretty uninspiring Emerald...especially after the QUEEN!
-
The Westie sure is showing the reason she is the Queen of Toots.....even while the Emerald is trying to get out before dark!
-
What a beautiful sound! Still the best ever and the reigning Champ!!:) And still going and going! Well done!!
