You might also request an extension cord.    Some of the refurbed ships have outlets near the beds but many do not.

Just an FYI, extension cords have been on the prohibited list so if you use one before the cruise in a hotel there may be a problem. I have asked for the water and attendant brought a cord without asking. This is so common and is not something to worry about it it.

read the link. What I stated is precisely what is written there.

Where’s the link from, what’s throwing me off is now there’s lunch from Blu, never happened before. Both myself and TA called this week b cause we are looking at a cruise on Beyond and got opposite info. I like what’s said

No guarantees to dine in Blu. It's based on availability. You can order from the Blu menu for in-suite dining. Also, not able to order from the Blu menu in Luminae.

Sorry but disagree on both parts of your response, I checked two sources and AQ suites eating in Blu is not based on availability, you get access to both Blu and Luminae. Also, since it’s inception room service from the dinner menu has never come from Blu but we the MDR. This applies even in suites except for the higher ones.

On our cruise in Alaska, the dress was definitely more casual.  The dress code was long sleeved dress shirts.  I had only brought one long sleeved but several short sleeved.  Nothing was said to me.  People were coming to dinner with hiking boots and jeans.

Yes, my concern in Alaska was to bring layers of clothing, dressed within code but not concerned about being fancy.

In Alaska  I wore my Le Kirklands by Costco.

  5. I don’t really care what they call him/her but keep in mind LLP is extremely woke.

Another thing they have done in the past. Is change what they call something so they can deny a perk previously given.

I asked my travel agent to confirm that the ROOMS were the same.  Celebrity agent quoted “the Sky Suite had ceiling to floor SLIDING DOORS” but the Aqua Sky Suite had “floor to ceiling windows the width of the wall”. Our Sky Suite on Edge had floor to ceiling windows and we loved the light as well as having the bed face the glass wall.  Can’t imagine they would change these.  So we booked the Sky Suite as we were not interested in the Spa ammenties.

Be advised Celebrity agents are very often incorrect and I believe this may be the case. The description on the web site for both Aqua sky suites and regular sky suites both say sliding doors.

I think this one is a bit of an oddity. The description is changed on the A1 to highlight the features (high floor, prime location) A1 versus A2. They are trying to provide more transparency in cabin categories. Ultimately, all Aqua cabins include Blu.

Aqua Class Sky Suites will be introduced on S class ships for 2023. On Beyond the AQ Suites will default to Luminea with Blu available dependent on space.

that’s interesting, they had AQ suites years ago on Reflection but changed them to Sky suites after a couple of years, curious why they’re doing it again.

So it sounds as though you book Aqua for the room and not Blu?  Perfectly fine, many other venues to choose from on board.

Celebrity has for years had their own salad and Signature dressing in the MDR. It is one of the items you can also get in Blu.

  9. Never had a problem getting a salad in Blu with pretty much any dressing I like. Also

, laughed about the foo foo food comment. I’m a meat and potatoes person as well as wife and neither one of us have ever had a problem. Maybe the person who wrote that didn’t know about the everyday items.

I think of a green salad as lettuce, tomato, cukes, and onion with some nice Thousand Island dressing. No mangos or goat cheese, blue cheese etc.

    What about blue cheese dressing

Regarding the new changes with the Captains Club. I understand that Elite happy hour is unlimited drinks from the happy hour menu between 5pm-7pm at any bar.

With the new changes, are they now including happy hour on embarkation day as well?

It has never been held on embarkation day or the day of the Captains party.
