  1. not for me.. .I loved all of my cats, but never put them in clothes/ costumes or a stroller. I am sure she is a very loved and pampered pet but this is a bit over the top for me... just my opinion, others will no doubt differ!
  2. crowded and loud. could not ever use this pool.. ..one Activity staff guy with a microphone needed to take a break! I'd rather swim with the kids!

    Bocce ball

on our cruise is was p.m. til 5:30..plink.plink plink!
  4. there are posts about liability etc for scooter issues.. see google
  5. loud is at outdoor pool all day now.. it used to be quiet in the am til 11. Kids in Solarium would be tame in comparison.. but we were never there during family time. EDEN had putting..Club had curling.. Rooftop had Pickle Ball.. very activity oriented ! Luckily we had our inf balc..a noise free zone!
  6. our issue on ASCENT was finding a quiet space to sit and read.. a place not taken over by sports, loud CD activites staff, blaring music, etc Found a spot in guest rel area and on hallway to EDEN where there was no music speaker! We liked the ship but hope they can tone it downva bit.. Not everyone likes loud and shouty!
  7. thank you for this link .. I went there and found a whole thread covering the item I am considering...Very helpful!
  8. I thought it was related enough as an alternative, but now I see a better place to inquire as suggested below! Will pursue that!
  9. but were often sherbert. to us they were.better than the odd things served now!
  10. Newport is nice for a day with a tour and lunch; not much going on in St George's these days ; and we like stopping at Kings Wharf It is way out, but easy to go elsewhere including Hamilton and beaches, and there's fun stuff right there! Not familiar with O ships but will look at ECLIPSE reviews! Either way BERMUDA is great!
  11. Can anyone share experiences with a walker with wheels and a little seat? Thanks.. note: Boarding at PEV 25 is a series of fairly steep inclines.. Hold on to your wheelie bags or they may roll away!
  12. love this photo.. did you tender in to port?
  13. Gee..I am clearly in the minority. I look at cruising as a partial spa get away.. and enjoy my visits very much (usually massage and facial..sometimes refkexology) All are with pre booked price incl grats. never get a hard sell and never had a bad treatment. I no longer tip extra, or buy products b/c they add a svc charge to the cost..ugh! I buy Elemis products on line or locally in stores..I do like the " Instant Refreshing Gel" for neck and shoulders! Important.. I confirm my bookings and prices in advance and have them initial my sheet! Avoids issues! Another tip is: if you get the KERASTASE hair treatment on E Class, you can just book the treatment and do your own blow dry.. Adding it at the Salon is VERY pricey!
  14. sounds like a great day.. Cap's Lecture will no doubt be packed.. re runs will usually be shown on TV
  15. we did have a nice non windy night.. great dinner..
  16. no, but they could create one. on a lower deck..instead of setting up in the lawn area.. which was created as a more tranquil garden area.... or even set in in the Club where they had curling and other sports! on ASCENT the active stuff has taken over many nice relaxing spaces. putting in EDEN, Curling in the Club..pickleball on the lawn.. fewer places to read or just do nothing!
  17. in some instances a fold up walker can be useful..I am looking into it for airport use!
  18. sports court or indoors..lower level
  19. That's a great price for lunch..We went for dinner on ASCENT and had to ask them to stop playing after the set time play time was over.. The PB is very popular, well attended and takes up alot of space in the garden area! It would be best suited elsewhere!
  20. glad we are booked on APEX in Jan 2025 out of Pt Ev.. Long drive either way but for us it is an easier trip to Pt Ev from mid west coast fl
