more pics.. We each ordered a roll..Sal is new to this so went with Calif Roll and really enjoyed it. Forgot which one I ordered but it was tasty & fresh! We both ordered a terriyaki entree..chicken/ beef. Quite a feast for lunch!

Raw on Five for Lunch! We pre booked our Specialty Dining dinners, but knew we had to work in Raw on Five. We were able to get a lunch res and also use our 15% E+ discount towards the bill. Ordering and pricing is a la carte..They offer a great menu..not just sushi . Some interesting drinks too..( some above our Classic plan). Service was outstanding..Happy we could enjoy it!

I am a Tina fan and enjoy Motown music too , so not sure how bad it would be for me to walk...too loud, ?bad singers? poor dancing? Special shows will likely be diff next year anyhow! we got 2 styles on ASCENT.. one style heavy, one more lightweight. I think one or both had a pouch.. Very handy. These were not the leather Tassel.ones we got in our suite on BEYOND..

We passed this everytime we took the elevator..we knew to turn left at the then right!

glad this thread did not die..and there are more recent threads about ASCENT. with great pics and dining perspectives. I hope to finish my review in next few days.. I want to highlight St Kitts/Nevis.. lunch at Raw on 5...the lectures on early US Space missions and Cap's lecture! Reason for the delay...Sal and I came down with flu a day after our return.. could have picked it up locally or a gas stop on on drive home. Not COVID but nasty..and we had flu shots. Feeling better but still not 100%!

We always booked AQ Class..tried a suite on BEYOND (with cancelled cruise credits) and were much happier to be back in AQ Class on ASCENT! It was amazing! We had outstanding dinners at Fine Cut, Eden..and okay at Rooftop. Excllent a la carte lunch at Raw on 5 and sammies at Bistro on 5.... great breakfasts at BLU .Never made Cap Club Breakfast.

Best post of the year! Made me cry happy tears... Jeremy was a keeper from Day 1. Hope you make more great memories in the future! I was just going over our 4 day short Silhouette itin.(Prime Concierge) , KW and Nassau. Before the pricing changed got a great price for all inc with OBC! Thanks to some of your amazing posts, we decide to do lunch at each port & specialty dining each nite...Tuscan, Murano, Lawn Club Grill and Porch ( saves the trauma of the mdr..) Looking forward to it! ENJOY..hope you have smooth seas!

Absolutely.. def part of AQ Class..We worked it out with our Stateroom attendant....and looked forwad to a little snack each afternoon. with a soda or wine.. .We would ask for shrimp, lox, fruit and cheese as many of the stadard items were not so great. We bring our own crackers. . Last week, (Ascent) the Canapes were not in our AQ package...we were able to bring a few snacks on board..like chips, and also back from the buffet if we wanted them.

door open is def a NO NO It affects systems, creates a mean whistle in the corridor and other cabins! Makes it tough for others to sleep..Staff has to go door to door reminding folks to shut the doors!

Sometimes this is a great alt . but not for a large group.and is only filtered sun at best. If you get there early, it is wonderful! Lucked out a few times on ASCENT, perfect water temp, spa music ...but as more flee from the outdoor pool..(too loud, too sunny, too crowded); the Solarium pool fills to its limited capacity, A din develops in the area. Then AQ folks can move to the thermal suites....and other places.

For those who leave, some will stay and more will come aboard! that's the cycle!

waiting for the feedback..Bonaire is one of our fav ports .. but it is hot down there! Charla .. also think about the New Orleans cruise from Tampa..we could do a Mardi Gras mask party! Sal has never been there..I was there with my dtr....loved the city and its vibe!

On Ascent...we saw similar public behavior to a slighty lesser degree.by adults not college kids....doing stuff that belongs in their room. The alcohol, loud music and party vibe are def attracting a diff crowd on this ship. Nevertheless, there was an SRO crowd in the Gr Plaza for the Billy Joel tribute artist! Guess us "oldies" still can rock the house..with our clothes on.

This was on a sea day..other days you could not get a seat or a space in the pool!

looks quite a bit like the outdoor pool on Ascent last week. .not many children on board but many who are on perpetual Spring Break! There were a few quiet spots but not at the pool!

. All the nuances given in the tour..group or pvt are missed by most on board. On Beyond, I had a short botanical tour after showing an interest in all the amazing plants! Now covered in the regular tour. Btw...On Cunard QM 2, we did a self guided tour with a tape they lent out!

can you rent a cabana..and take turns? The outdoor pool on Ascent was packed..all days....with loud music, and games.. The blaring microphones of the Activity staff was the worst and we stayed away! No quiet time even early a.m.
