    Forward, Deck 7. 😉 Best access to the Explorer’s Lounge, which is the venue we visit most often on a cruise! No seasickness issues (Sea Bands), and any gentle rocking rocks us to sleep. 😴

    The $5pp vans are located at the end of the cruise pier and at Atlantis outside the Royal Tower where the upscale shops are, just before you walk down the stairs to Marina Village.

    Which has nothing to do with their ability to spend dollars in Europe and their home country - where they’ll also suffer a conversion loss. Think of it from the recipient’s perspective, not the donor’s.

    Why on earth would you tip in US dollars when the cruise is in Europe?? I doubt many of the crew vacation in New York City!!

    Our experience is that onboard booking begins at the full rack rate and then discounts from there, so the deal looks more attractive than it is. We’ve even been quoted “discount” prices that are above what we’ve seen in recent sale brochures.

    Shallow bowls in bathrooms often spill over and flood the floor, especially with cruise ship vacuum lines!! 😮🚽

    Which for some can only be determined after you figure the “value” of the package calculated to 17 decimal places…😎🥃

    Right! They absolutely hate “extra” tips. I’ve had bartenders push the money back across the bar and say “Extra tips make me feel so tawdry!” 😎

    Moot point, as Viking does not allow you to bring a hair dryer onboard.

    In April, we docked at Terminal A. Simple, few amenities, yet clean and efficient. Definitely NOT a place to hang out or shop.

    If a manager can’t control the environment in his/her restaurant, then they don’t deserve to be a manager.

    Same here. I thought it was just our bad luck, but it’s typically after visiting Malaga, so the timing never works out! 😥 And typically after a full meal and a few drinks, we have not set our alarm.

    Look into a tour of Rabat, the capital city. It’s cleaner and safer and has numerous interesting sights, including the President’s palace, mausoleums, a walk through the casbah, a local meal, etc. It was a very enjoyable day.

    You use another card as a placeholder, then switch to your Mastercard when you check in on the pier. We’ve done it twice with no pushback.

    And how would you know how long the machine has been stopped?? I doubt many folks leave and come back after 15 minutes (is that an “unacceptable” period of time?) to see if the machine has been emptied. One can try to rationalize many “me first” behaviors these days.
