And becoming more imperfect by the day with tip jars appearing everywhere. I've spent a lot of time in London pubs. Great service with no tipping. I guess some people don't need a carrot dangled in front of their noses in order to take pride in their work. -

Wow, what does than mean? And I wonder if the cabin autogratuities are handled exactly the same way.

That is not a drink voucher. That is the same receipt that is used for any bar sale. Do you see an amount on their that went to the server? It is hard to read but all I see are zeroes. Unless you write in an amount nothing gets charged to your account and, I suspect, nothing goes to the server.

Sailing from Texas would not be cost effective for me with flights.

Usually, in the past I've been able to book refundable from $175 - $300 extra. $1075 is insane. You can switch to non-refundable just before final payment. However, they reprice your cruise to the going rate at the time. So unless the price of the cruise has dropped by at least the amount of what you paid for the refundable deposit you are better off just leaving things alone.

Then it is not the medication. It is the food. It happens to my mother on cruises. I always put her on a diuretic before she set sail.
