What, approximately, would the larger fully loaded container ships need for vertical clearance under a bridge?

That part has had me confused also. Unless I am missing something, I don't foresee container ships going higher. Maybe longer or wider but higher would seem, in my mind anyway, to make them more unstable in storms.

So, with the political unrest you would have preferred that RCI sail to Labadee anyway? You are viewing issues on Nassau as equivalent to those on Haiti? I hardly doubt that changing your cruise destination was at RCI's convenience. You seriously expected RCI to call and ask if it was OK with you if they changed the itinerary? When are you sailing and when did you make final payment? Labadee has been closed for weeks and the writing was on the wall before the closure occurred. Why didn't you cancel before sending in final payment if you were so set on that destination?

So would I. I can't stand the other one.

All the more reason for RCI to appreciate its long time customers.

Teenagers make a lot of bad decisions. Some of those choices affect their health. I still feel sorry no matter how much direction I have tried to previously give them.

I have found the same thing in Cozumel. I suspect RCI gets some sort of deal to do that just like they do at Crown Bay on St. Thomas. It doesn't seem to matter that it is much more inconvenient for many of their customers.

Next winter an 8 night Caribbean cruise on 20 yo Freedom of the Seas in a standard OVB cabin is just about double what I paid for a similar cruise on 3 yo Odyssey of the Seas this past winter. You are entitled to your opinion on pricing. I guess you are also entitled to think that no one else knows what they are talking about and I'm quite sure nothing I write is going to change your mind.

Yeah, adults should know better and they should also be parents to their kids. I was in the Solarium Bistro on Allure once when this kid picked up a piece of dessert with his hands, smelled it, then put it back. I'll complain about anyone doing such stuff and you won't be finding me on a river cruise.
