Still settling in with a couple of more days to clearly share thoughts. Though I feasted and was scared to see the scale on return, only 4 pounds gain in 14 days. Pretty good.

In the Princess Grill our Wine Steward Jerome took well care of our purchases. Whatever was left at the end of the meal, was noted and reserved for future use the following days or meals. Of course on the final evening we had enough to finish off at the final meal. If we wanted a different drink on an evening we would just ask for the bottles to be held.

We too have a considerable amount of Sailing experience. If items commonly suggested to take home we would appreciate the gesture to remember the sailing with it's use. But the containers that are on board now are for large quantity use and easy cleansing as our Stewardess noted to us. An easy refill and surface wipe down for continuous use. And this is what we expected before boarding in reading these posts.

Even though we were on a sailing to Canada that had extra requirements to enter, we would have tested before for safe keeping. I were happy that the observed proctored test was negative and we even tested the morning before we headed to the terminal in Brooklyn. Also we tested periodically on board with negative results and gave us confidence we were following the guidelines suggested. This is Day 4 after the cruise and still testing Negative. Unfortunately we found out before disembarking that one of our CC group was Positive and heading to Deck 5. Also another member felt flu symptoms and test negative but did not test a second time. And on arrival at home one of the couples test positive. During the sailing Captain Hall did make an announcement during this Noon report that the ship was in good condition. Very few cases and Commended Us for following the Highly Recommended Masking, Distancing and HS Station usage. Yes we did quite a number of passengers running around without masks but close to a good number that did wear masks except drinking, eating and high capacity locations like theater, Illuminations and Queens Room to name a few.

We were in the Princess Grill on the QM2 and better than we expected space between tables for two. I would estimate we had about 18 inches btw the tables which even gave them space for the cheese and Flambe tables to come thru. We were in an area with a large amount of tables for two at the entrance of the Princess Grill.

Coming back from the September 23rd 14 day sailing we were extremely happy with the Staff and Services we experienced. Kings Court service very good and did not mine having servings plates for us. We did use the Staff at the entrance of the restaurant with HS bottles to cleanse before entering. Unfortunately we did not care in the past with passengers that at times messing up the food displays while plating their servings. And everyone from Cabin to Restaurant to Entertainment were very professional as we have experienced in the past on the Cunard Line. Concierge was very professional in handling our needs and enjoyed the Concierge Lounge for quiet time and Tea Time over the Queen Room and Grill Lounge. Our voyage was all we expected except for weather reasons we had to drop a port of call but that was a natures action and gave us another day to enjoy at sea.

Unfortunately I don't need to bring home stuff. I throw away extra what I brought so not to carry it. On board products are meant to be use on board. I'll enjoy it again when we sail again. Sorry.....

Not meant to bring home.

Still not convinced with the mix.

Just off and well cared for with the supply available. Hand Soap, Body Wash, Body Lotion, Shampoo, Conditioner. If needed Bar Soap available on request. Unfortunately in large bottles so no freebies to take home as in the past.

Very little is changing. They say it's late this year. Some lightly which shocked us so maybe by the time October progresses you will see changes more. But not on this sailing. -
We had an enjoyable Chocolate Souffle tonight on the QM2. Excellent Chocolate Sauce accompanied it.

Bagels on current QM2 enjoyable.

Going by announcement that's all I can say

QM2 is in fine shape now according to Captain Hall since yesterday's announcement. He highly suggests keep wearing masks.

Yes. We have been to Québec, Sagunacy, Sept Iles and heading to Halifax. Beautiful sunny weather but cold windy at some points. Landing in Sagunacy was 32 felt like 29 not till afternoon warm sun. Sept Iles yesterday 30 and windy. Delayed our departure 3 1/2 hours leaving windy couldn't move the QM2. Québec Chilly to warm afternoon and evenings. But never saw rain at all. Definitely warm clothing needed even to layer. Gloves used. -
Yesterday afternoon Captain Hall gave a report before leaving NS. Part of the report was the state of the ship medical department report. Though many are not wearing masks many more are. And we see it and have been dedicated since Brooklyn to wearing masks when common sense tells you. We are extremely low and he has given high credit for the voluntary mask wearing by passengers and care for others. At the Royal Court last night we even seen more and more voluntary mask wearing without complaints. We have done period tests on board and negative results makes us smile. On excursions yesterday everyone had masks. I have a good feeling we are close to home free.
