  1. When you come to Sheephead Bay in Brooklyn you have to know how to say it the RIGHT way. people who say “galamad” are those of italian descent who live in places like stated island, lower brooklyn, nj, & LI. REAL ITALIANS SAY 'CALAMARI,'” another explained. Others, however, praised the videos, claiming that Staten Islanders pronounce calamari “the right way” — or at least the way that's true to their borough
  2. Typical 5PM but with tropical activities still affecting the ocean not sure. We are getting reports from Onboard crossing and hope she isn't going to come in delayed. That would a whole ball of wax to deal with. Have to see getting closer.
  3. We have the same problem at the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal Friday so expensive. 20 dollars for 14 days WOW!
  4. We are in NYC and leaving on the QM2 Friday and we are a Go. But watching all reports She's a Cat 3 and may feel effects around 2PM to 8PM Friday with distance affects to Eastern Coast - NYC... We will have affects
  5. Thru the on-board browser.. Cunard website has full instructions and section on My Voyager..
  6. Going on in a few days. I downloaded it but can't use till Onboard.
  7. I personally make my liver from chicken liver sauteed in butter. Jewish delis use chicken fat. With sauteed white onions. Then when hand grate it with quartered boiled eggs. S&P to taste. The local Jewish delis can not use chicken due to parents. So they used beef. Never would think mayo at all. This a deli with real Jewish rye and raw onion which made the beef chopped livers favorable.
  8. QE2 has Steak, Mushroom and Suet Pie. I also think Cottage Pies use dice.
  9. Sorry NCL doesn't follow Cunard's free shuttle policy.
  10. Yes same with emergency contact and Cunard Rep helped to fill in by phone. Very courteous and reassuring.
  11. Never tried CBH no other way just like Shepherds Pie some us chopped meat some use dice meat.
  12. Hi once again, Sorry but the Port of Call list that sails next Friday from NYC will be this year at sea sailing past Cape Cod to the Port of Boston landing on the 25th. Being one that sails on the QM2 I must admit and share with you from other Cunarder's Newport is one of our favorite port to call on but not this year. Article is wrong. I believe that it did visit Newport in 2019 before the Pandemic. And usually sails into Newport during the 4th of July sailing. Sorry you won't see her. She is as glorious to sail on as you would see her from the shore. Maybe next time...
  13. Agree with some of your procedure but not all. We even use crumpets instead of EM's. The many holes have a cushion effect. I really don't see garlic and smoked paprika. Your Corned Beef has originally been prepped and no need for additional seasoning after cooked IMHO. I run my CB thru a meat mill that produces a Chopped Meat affect along with alternate raw onion and green pepper along cooled boiled potatoes into mill. Formed patties. Pan fried with Veg Oil.... Each has their own recipes.
  14. I think it's like a casino 50/50 chance. We are sailing this Friday and had the same think in mind. We even also are thinking about the things that are developing in the Caribbean now and if they will reach of affect us in the next two weeks, But we are seasoned with 30+ cruises and deal with it. We are not letting it affect us. The Captain will make decisions and sail away from it or alter course.
  15. You need ArrivCan for health clearance. We sail next Friday with no Visa. And we r USA cit.
