  1. The ingredients are the important part of making the Egg Cream. U Bet Chocolate Syrup made in Brooklyn, Whole Cold Milk, Freshest Seltzer, Clean Dry Glass. Vanilla Syrup also made by U Bet for Vanilla Egg Creams. Stirring while adding the seltzer is very important to create the foam cap.
  2. The history of Pizza in NYC is in the past the best Pizza Makers in Italy came over here to start a new life and opened pizzerias. Workers learned the skill and than opened their shops and the multiple shops continued to open. Living in the part of Brooklyn where pizzerias are Supreme it's easy to find the greatest pies and ingredients from across the pond. The commercial brands like names I don't want mention are to Brooklynites "Cardboard". Those names like D, PC, etc... would never be found in our hands. You know you have authentic Pizza by just handling a slice which is thin thickness and point stand up when folded. No point hanging with the heaviness of the cheese and dripping oil.. Pizza is known as a all in one meal with all the food groups contained. Easy on the move......lol....
  3. Sir Kensington from Brooklyn NY.....
  4. Thank you Jane.... will report back..though we have a number of more days added to yours....
  5. Make it all the time for my DW and loves it. Easy and not hard. Just the basic.
  6. exlonder, I thought the same thing as you. You hold lunch and clean up... Then you setup for Afternoon Tea then clean up again.....Soon will be First Sitting of Britannia Dinner...Didn't make sense... Some one must have not edit it for typos.... Everyone has read before booking about the elegant Tea in the QR.....
  7. As long as the Travel Certificate looks very legit and contains the information they are look for and at. I think there are some common names they would recognize. All the fields should be completely filled in.
  8. Well I think those tactics are not in the works anymore but one never really knows. We're going to do our best keeping clean. Follow the rules. And enjoy ourselves and watch those that may be cautious to be around.
  9. I remember the old Health Declaration years ago they use to give you in the Pier because of Noro. People use to check all the no boxes sign it and no care. Just wanted to board. Couldn't believe how careless. Agree testing on the pier.
  10. Remember at the beginning the cabin staff were monitoring your counter top medications and purchases in the shops to report to the Medical Center. Even one posting reported their over use of facial tissues and toilet paper instead of tissue was reported to the Medical Center related to Questionable Sinus Discharge.
  11. If we are going to professionally being monitored virtually and we are testing ourselves till we leave home to the terminal that morning, Negative is Negative. Being in Healthcare we go by medical testing results like in any other tests. We know people that caught it in the airport even before the terminal. And was developing Positive heading on board. No lieing is worth heading to a sailing that will change your accommodation to Quarantine Deck. I have taken care of many that have denied this health emergency and are resting in peace.
  12. We are going to do a Virtual two days before the sailing and will answer with results of the test. NEGATIVE.....no matter what....Negative will be the answer. End of September we are leaving and heavy Ragweed season. Our trip is a GO - Lift Off.....
  13. Last time I saw that was when we upgraded from Platinum to Diamond. Remained for 1 month in that area.
  14. I agree with you with symptoms that I at time regularly have. I've been Negative sincere 3/2020 watching myself and very careful. But change of weather and seasons and polluted city, it's unusual if you didn't have it. So I have to make the right decision and answer too!
  15. If you are booked on a current cruise, once you open the booking page with the Booking Number we see our status in the upper right hand corner...Like ours state DIAMOND...
  16. This happens to professional that doesn't use the safety pad the comes with it. I always uses it. Better safe than sorry...
  17. Going to Halifax at the beginning of October on the QM2 and have been there about 8 times in the past. Can't tell you about Charlottetown since the last time was 2001 and really can't remember but we did a walking tour. Halifax has many locations to see like the Citadel, Harbor Walkway, Maritime Museum, Central area of the City, many shops and restaurants. We like Salty's Restaurants for the sweetest Lobster from the Cold Canadian Waters. There is many more places to walk around and investigate. Halifax Farmers Market located next door to the Docking Pier http://www.halifaxfarmersmarket.com/about/ Information BlogSpot About Halifax and A Number of Sites Described https://solentrichardscruiseblog.com/2015/09/11/one-way-to-do-halifax-nova-scotia-second-edition/
  18. Till the last sailing in 2017 we got Ship Menu signed by the Waiters each sailing. The last time was some and not all since you have to share. But on the Beginning of the QM2 and Always on the QE2 we got full set of Menus from Breakfast to every lunch and dinner and the colorful theme cover each came in. The island we would visit, Easter, Gala theme night etc.... Still have them as keepsakes. Will till I depart from sailing when I will look back at them for memories.
  19. MY #1 FAVORITE FOR 40 year. Loved Maurice the owner. always gave us an after drink. Son now runs it and cooks. Use it for every Pre Theater dinner. Use to use the Dish of Salt chinese till close down street from RCMH.
  20. Love Stir Fries.......Dumplings, Bok Choy and even regular use like steaming with baskets.
  21. Maybe I will challenge the QM2 on this sailing for a PBJ. Maybe a Chef will come out of the kitchen with a Cleaver......lol..... There are children on board
  22. No restrictions here. Full PB. With Strawberry Preserves from the UK or Grape from the Good Olde USA. When I make it, it brings back memories of MOM now gone for 2 years making them for me and the bread cut into triangles - 4 pieces.
  23. I don't like the graininess of CC. I did try it back once in awhile but No Taker On My Part. I know there is a creamy which makes me SICK!
