  1. I like Lobster Cocktail. Also Authentic Crab Meat Salad. With Cocktail Sauce, Lemon Sauce or Marie Rose (on the QE2 or QM2) like a Cocktail Sauce.
  2. That's what I think. Can't understand Mustard on Frankfurters and Cheese on French Fries.
  3. That is why not having been on a long trip lately, I question the other CWC benefits that are being offered in the past. Comp Wine Tasting and the CWC Cocktail Party & Senior Officers Gathering, if they are being re-introduced Post C19 to passengers on board. Those Good Olde Days..
  4. Like our departure on October 7th will be from Deck 9 Princess Grill in Brooklyn. Being Diamond Level which I would not be surprised most will be at that level , there will be a large gathering of passengers exiting in those hallways. So either way Verndah Restaurant (Disembarking Lounge)or Deck 9 cabins, there will be a large group leaving and piling up at the lifts. Best, wait till most leave and exit before the next announcement.
  5. Unfortunately that is one of the reasons that discourages me from entering the floor with my DW. They do take over the floor and make it uncomfortable and unwelcome to participate. We use to see more dramatic couples in the Queens Room on the QE2 on regular nights of dancing. We love to dance together especially after 47 years together but it is a challenge with pardon the phase, Harvest Moon Ball couples. We try to make due.
  6. Ever c what tarter is made of......
  7. Once you try it you will know. Mayo, Homemade Farm Pickle Relish, Olive Oil, Vinegar, Fresh Dill.....definitely different... Great with Fried Shrimps, Scallops, Soft Shell Crabs, Fried Filet, etc......
  8. Easy to Make with the right ingredients.
  9. Mike, Hi from Brooklyn, NY....... We are sailing on the Queen Mary 2 and will be seeing you about two times on our sailing at Quebec & Saguenay. Sorry I don't have somewhere at those ports to suggest a Lobster meal. As mentioned before, we enjoy ours at Halifax. Hope you do find somewhere. Having Lobster in Halifax proves Cold Water Lobster is GREAT!. The meat is so sweet and delicate. Bon Voyage!
  10. Not to get too technical, I wonder what the % of photos accepted are. Maybe we would attempt to and see if we can figure out why they reject.
  11. Once again, thank you bluemarble. Though the verbiage in US states that requirement changed, we still want to be reassured before heading to and boarding the QM2 that we are Negative in the test results. To start the voyage with a clear mind is reassuring we have followed our practices to enjoy this special sailing.
  12. We are taking a sailing on Sept 23 and have to produce a travel negative certificate to show at the terminal in Brooklyn. We have a observed test appointment two days before as required. After the test is taken and it's negative, we will receive from the company a certificate by email - pdf format to hold as our proof. Along with our Vaccination Card.
  13. Our Italian Bakery's make Gelato fresh homemade. They also prep the items ahead. Marinate the Cherrys, Fresh Shelled Pista and Ice Cream or Gelato are made with finest Valrhona Dark Chocolate. It's to die for. Never tasted Choco like that. But the Basil Ice Cream I missed this year. It was very interesting to have tried last year and would keep it all year in the house. Have to see if I can make it at home.
  14. My DW is also trying to figure out what her needs will be for our sailing. We too like to keep in contact and will try to deal with the strength of the service.
  15. Sorry but we are visiting it next month with the Cunard Line and they are organized tours at those ports.
  16. We enjoy booking Britannia Club many times which is mostly mid ship and does have a balcony. Also has it's own restaurant with table placement for all three meals. This time we are visited by the Upgrade Fairy and will be placed in a Princess Grill Cabin which is Mid Ship - Forward and looking forward to experiencing it for the first time on the QM2. All those have balconies.
  17. Sorry but come to Brooklyn and you have it all over..Spumoni.... Also possibly Costa line being Italian should have it regularly.
  18. Cunard did not charge that much on the QM2. Of course, tips to the driver.
  19. I remember the fish knives on the Grand Old Lady especially for Dover Sole.
  20. Leaving on our next sailing, we expect to follow the instructions we have been given and following since 3/2020. By two of our dear friends & doctors to take good care of ourselves very seriously and we have since then. Negative results each time. Periodically testing. We hope and expect Negative before boarding. Fingers crossed for thru out the sailing till back home. There will be a challenge during eating and drinking without a mask.
  21. I'm not offended by "Yanks".....I'm A Yankee Doodle Dandy".....lol...
