  1. Today's sunrise is from my 2013 Prinsendam Amazon cruise. December 12 was a sea day from Alter Do Chao to Barbados. Roy

  3. Thank you Rich, Vanessa, Debbie, Ann, and Dixie. Nice days but I won't be participating in any. of them. I am not really sure about the Camus quote. I have not been to Ravenna (or to Venice). This is a great day in communications history, I'll pass on the meal. My alternative is Chilled Apple Vichyssoise, Grilled Half Chicken with Peaches, and Blueberry Crisp as served on MS Prinsendam December 12, 2013. A cold day today. Yesterday's PET scan was a mixed bag. I hope to say more later but have some other priorities, personal and fire department for a while. Roy
  4. Today's sunrise is from a short 2012 cruise on Monarch OTS. On December 12 we visited Coco Cay: Roy

  6. Thank you Rich, Vanessa, Debbie, Ann, and Dixie. Not a fan of apps but I will definitely celebrate the other 2 days. I love the Bruce Lee quote. I've been to Portland a few times including the Oosterdam in 2017. This should be a great day for the Commonwealth countries. The meal sounds interesting. My alternative is Chilled Peach and Ginger Soup, Quail with Apricot Bread stuffing, and Cherry Crisp as served on MS Prinsendam November 11, 2013. We have snow on the grass this morning, the first time in about 2 years. Roy
  7. Today's sunrise is another from my 2013 Prinsendam Amazon cruise. On December 10 we visited Parintins. Roy

  9. And for shaded loungers don't forget the aft decks. Roy
  10. Thank you Rich, Vanessa, Debbie, Ann, and Dixie. Happy Birthday Henry. Bon Voyage @LAFFNVEGAS@dobiemom@lindaler and @POA1. Welcome home @Haljo1935 and @Nickelpenny. I'll pass on the Lager but celebrate animal rights and the Dewey decimal system. I'm not getting the quote today. I have not been to LaPaz but IIRC it was a favorite hangout for Pacific BHB during the shutdown. I'm also not a fan of curry so a bit unsure about the meal although I like lamb. My alternative is Iced Melon Bisque, Baked Ricotta Stuffed Shells, and Mango Sundae as served on MS Prinsendam December 10, 2013. Not sure about church. I would love to go in person but there is heavy rain coming today so I'll try to get there if the rain holds off long enough but may end up worshiping on line. Roy.
  11. When I was looking at this I remembered a love I have for checking out logos painted on port walls by visiting ships including these: And a reminder of the Northwest Passage voyages. Roy
  12. I missed the Dream but didn't hear any toots. Thanks Leanne, Lou & Dave, and fellow addicts. Roy
  13. My photos of Funchal. First the toboggan including a couple of rider views: I do enjoy looking at logos painted on the walls of a few ports. Top center is an old Noordam: Roy
  14. A sunset once again rather than a sunrise. This is from my 2016 Seabourn Odyssey transatlantic Lisbon to Fort Lauderdale. On December 9 we visited Funchal. Roy

  16. Some nice strong toots from the Eurodam although I might have missed one or 2 due to buffering. Roy
  17. Thank you Rich, Vanessa, Debbie, Dixie, and Ann for the Saturday Fleet Report and Daily. Genocide prevention is a special need in these times. My best experience with a lost and found was on the Elegant Explorer; I think they twice had a camera I had dropped. Sadly, I have not done Christmas cards in years. I'm having difficulty with the Robert Hall quote but celebrate 2 great days in history. I've been to Funchal twice. The first was in 2008 on a Wind Surf transatlantic. It was supposed to be nonstop from Lisbon to Barbados but some supplies were missing as we left Lisbon and had an impromptu day there as parts for the water processing system were loaded and installed. The other time was on my 2016 Seabourne Odyssey transatlantic. I did a tour with the toboggan ride down the mountain and if I do not see photos of it will post some later. My daily sunrise photo will also be a sunset from Funchal.. I'll pass on the meal. My alternative is Iced Melon Bisque, Baked Ricotta Stuffed Shells, and Mango Sundae as served on MS Prinsendam December 9, 2013. A warm day here but very foggy this morning. Heavy rain for the Ravens game tomorrow. Roy
