Right, it does not say anything to the effect of which candidate's winning might affect their start date. It may just mean that after the election, politicians can actually turn their attention to governing as opposed to getting elected.
They never get anything done the month before the election😕 I used to cruise then to get away from all the ads etc

Hi Carolyn
Hate to point this out, but if it weren't for those posts, all umpteenth of them, there wouldn't have been a lot to dwell on for the last number of months. After all, this site is called Cruise Critic, and without cruises, this site didn't shut down mainly because that was/is the main concern for most and remains the only thing that is relevant (at least in North America) for those that have cruises booked at this time.
There are already at least 3 current threads with ongoing discussions speculating on ne cruising guidelines, the financial situation, conditions in home port areas, masks etc. There have been several threads started to post that someone made final payment, sail date .....rather than have a ton of those, we created a topic for folks to post this information in one place. It's uncharted waters for sure these days and we just try to keep things semi corralled in the right topic so people can find information. Hope this clarifies this for you!

******Topic is "made final payment, ready to go", not the umpteenth debate re if, when, how cruising will start. Place for folks to post this, sort of like a roll call. No judgment, naysaying etc please???? ****

Keep this in topic as related to Carnival. If becomes about Royal it will be moved. Thanks

CLIA has already said masks will be mandatory when cruising resumes so I think we have a pretty good idea what the policy is going to be concerning wearing masks. All the more reason to stay on topic!

******Please return to the topic of this thread which is masks versus no masks and cruising. This is not a forum to discuss religion, political decisions, vaccines,, death statistics.
It really doesn't directly relate to Carnival because we have no idea what written policy and requirements will be.
thank you.

Hi, tattoos,
Just an FYI posting in all caps is considered to be "shouting" online. Thanks for your cooperation in using upper and lower case in your posts.

Interesting but off topic for the most part so can we please go back on topic?????

Very well put and not that different here here. Gyms and Y just opened 30% capacity last weekend, no bars open, no movies. I go on errands, occasional lunch with my son. So few people wearing masks especially in small towns, some hotel workers clean rooms maskless. Schools are a mix, colleges a mess pretty much. I'm glad football is back. NFL has funny rules though..... We got nixed to have some fans in stands by league but Bengals and Brown's can have 6000...go figure...

Please watch the political comments......thanks

These articles are on the appropriate cruise line board
if you would liKe me to create a board something like
Latest News Updates on Cruise Reopening
I will do that but not going to have new threads for every article on cruise lines other than Carnival and more importantly not going to go off topic, discuss Covid..if this board is created.

I sometimes chuckle when I read comments calling a ten year old ship “old”. The Caribe was 39 years old when we cruised on this ship. Another of my favorites was the Seabreeze from Dolphin Cruise Line. This ship was 36 years old when we cruised in 1993. Seven nights to the eastern Caribbean. A true beauty. Also sailed on Seabreeze in 1993/94. Girls cruises. We closed the disco way way down almost in crew quarters deck each nite. Loved this ship as well.

I'm going to leave most of the off topic posts if they don't violate guidelines AND relate to cruising specifically but from here on please back on topic about MSC'S experience....why I don't usually keep non Carnival posts etc. One can only speculate till guidelines for Carnival come out
