In 2021 it seems in the center of FLL was cheap with hotels and in 2022 it was Dania Beach. Hilton Garden Inn Ft. Lauderdale Airport-Cruise Port (If affordable during your date range) was great for us as there are tons of restaurants within walking distance. Also, if you elect to rent a car, parking is (or was last year) free

Yes, it's a very nice hotel. We did a two nights there and it was great being close to the resort and not deal with parking. We then joined others and therefore moved into an airbnb, finding parking was a pain due to so much snow reducing the number of parking spaces

Thanks that answers some questions as they state this is the “initial” yet you do wonder only Celebrity was awarded and more importantly, did they rate other cruise lines and deem them “not worthy”? I’m hoping this is a blessing in disguise and motivates X to up their food quality. Forbes mentions “Known for fine dining” and if people are booking X for the food they will be outright disappointed by the current food offering

Since the restart we do not have any confirmed reports of any on board comps like specialty restaurants vouchers, etc. This is apparently different than pre-pandemic...They'll just say charge everything to the room and if you have enough play on the last night they'll give you a credit
