Thank you very much for your answer. I did not realize that there was a hallway there. I have thought the cabin 7311 was behind the elevators 😔. My alternative would be cabin 7593. Which one would you recommend?

I have been searching this forum but I have not been able to find information on the cabin I am being allocated on Explorer of the Seas. Does anybody have sailed on Cabin 7311? It is an interior promenade view. I am concerned about the proximity to the elevators. Can you hear the operation of the elevators on that cabin? Thanks in advance.

Closing and rotating made probably sense during the Pandemic, but the Pandemic is over now (even though COVID is still around). We could make our statements about the main restaurant closing for lunch or not, but actually who cares about our opinions? It is a financial reason behind and it will remain like that. Ivi

Thank you. 8 ships on the day I am embarking with Crystal😲. How does this will work? Has anybody experience on embarkation when so many ships are scheduled? I realize that while all ships show how long they will be on port, for Crystal there are no times given. Why is that?

I am happy to report that I have received today my refund. It took less than 10 days. Happy sailings everyone. I am now leaving the Explora Forum because I do not have any cruise booked with them. I am busy booking with other companies 😉 Ivi

I have been offered upgrades gegen payment at the moment of check in. Fluggesellschaften Lufthansa and Copa Airlines. I have received the upgrade, even tough my bid was considered low. This was in 2022. KLM has also offered me the possibility of an upgrade in 2023, but my flight was short and I was not interested. Many years ago I have received upgrades at the moment of boarding as frequent traveler from Lufthansa and British Airways without requesting. Those times seem to be gone now. Ivi

Airlines offer upgrades against payment nowadays on international flights. This happens quite offen at the check in process. Business class is always full.

Our experience at Kusadasi was, besides the fake rolex, being unpleasantly approached by vendors who were desperate to sell something. Ours was the last ship of the season and they were almost mad at people, because we were not buying enough.

Actually it is my understanding that a wait list is at the price in which the cabin was originally listed. Never experienced a price increase. This has been our experience with several cruise lines. I would clarify this with Crystal. Ivi

Cruiselines probably do not want to know anymore if someone is sick with COVID. I wonder how it is with the crew. Do they get tested regularly?

The problem with plastic gloves is that they are not environmental friendly.

I am able to login fine in the Crystal webpage but I do not see a place where I can log out. Is this just me or is the log out option missing under our accounts? It says that we will be able to customize our preferences if we login but again I do not see a place to do that. For example, as a solo passenger, I would like the two beds put together. How to do that? Ivi
