Our details show that the Sun arrives back into Lisbon at 7.00am ...can previous passengers give me some indication to the time passengers will be allowed off? Our flight leaves at 13.15 allowing for a 3 hour check in/security ...how long is the journey from the port to airport ? Are there two terminals in Lisbon. ? We are probably going to use Welcome Pickups (used them for transfers on our Jade Greek Islands cruise ) thanks for any information /advice.

We had to provide a Negative Covid Test and Certificate ... we had our done at a small testing lab on Ermou Street - cost 5 euros for an Antigen test. We met a couple who thought all they had to do was show proof of vaccination - wrong !!. They were tested at the port and charged 60 euros each for a simple antigen test. We had four days in Athens and were worried we may test positive ..though we had been ever so careful. We tested ourselves pre flight after flight, first day in Athens ... all negative and after our Official Test ..negative we had our certificate. It is stressful ...so we are pleased we don't have to go through all this for boarding in Lisbon.

That's a relief ... hope you do a review or comments on the Sun. We were on the Jade in September - Greek Islands - fantastic !!

No , I had an e-mail from NCL with a list of requirements but Lisbon wasn't on it. We had a September 2022 cruise from Athens and needed a negative Covid test ...which we did ...but it was a worry to have this done pre cruise. When is your sail date ?

Hi, yes I agree. We are recently returned from the Greek Islands on the Jade...with a sliding door . Looking at the video the Sun seems dated ..but the look maybe is "chic". We liked the Spirit so should (hopefully) like the Sun. Anyway it's booked now !!

When a cruise is showing no availability on a Club Balcony how can NCL send an email offering to bid on a club balcony ? Do they keep club balconies back for this bidding for upgrade ? thanks

Our NCL took us by boat then by bus up the winding road (great views) to Fira and then on to Oia ... we were given one and a half hours to see Oia -it was insanely busy . We were then taken to a winery for sampling along with cheese and breadsticks (included) . Very welcome as we did not have time to grab any food in Oia. We were then given a ticket to the cable car - no alternative.We stood for more then a hour and were very worried as the time on board was 2.30pm (I think we arrived at 7.00am ) so time was short. As it was the ship did not leave till way past the time on board as I guess many many passengers were stuck in the Q.

There's not much choice around the Med. over Christmas/New Year so we'll be on the Sun . Thanks everyone for your comments ...at least we will have some winter sunshine !!!

Thanks, the Sun has Christmas/New Year sailings around the Med. We've just returned from a 7 day Greek Island cruise on the Jade ..and we loved it !!

Hi, we have been on the Spirit and Jade ...now looking at the Sun. We loved both ships ...especially the Jade ..will the Sun be different ?

Our NCL tour similar Oia Village & Winery pre booked online was also sold out . Only Spanish available. Booked it ...then exchanged for English at Guest Services when on board.

Definitely do the Terraced House ....Amazing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

September 26th 12.00 noon- the line down to the cable car along a very narrow street was 1 hour 20 minutes. Those who opted to walk said the path was slippy and had donkey poo !! very dangerous in their opinion but didn't want to wait. OK we were on a cruise ship but believe me you could hardly move on Santorini . Too many ships in port. Even booked NCL shore excursions leave you to take the cable car back down

Two 72 year olds so a hike won't be for us. So a taxi from the port to Oia will be a solution ...is it a fixed rate or haggle ?
