  1. If I've done my search correctly (still learning!) I think this maybe Jeju Island, South Korea. If it isn't, then it's back to the drawing board 🤣
  2. It is indeed Dalian and we were on the way to Russian Street. Taken in February some years ago, it was bitterly cold with snow on the ground in some places. Some of the Californians on the cruise had never seen snow before and were quite excited - however they did not like the cold!!
  3. As it was mentioned that we could use a photo of a port city here's my offering. The port itself was rather dreary, although it was some time ago and hopefully is now better. This is just a walk away.
  4. Posting 2 photos this time as neither have very much info other than what you can see.
  5. Phew, what a relief it appears to have been sorted. Should never have happened in the first place of course. And as others have said, I would be having a word with your travel agent and asking them that an apology from Cunard for the stress they caused should be in the form of either a meal in one of the alternative dining rooms and perhaps they could kindly throw in some on board credit as well. Please let us know how the cruise went and whether you'd be happy to sail with Cunard again! And of course, happy honeymoon.
  6. Have a great cruise. Where are you off to? (see what I did there 🤣)
  7. You are correct. Taken in 2011. I'll have to look for something a bit harder!
  8. Obviously not Cunard, but it is a port they visit.
  9. I understand that the arrival of Queen Anne into Southampton has been moved to the 30th April. Hopefully this is no more than a last touch up here and there and nothing major.
  10. Absolutely magnificent sight. Truly a real ship in every possible way.
  11. Shamelessly borrowed (with permission) from another website.
  12. I know that if we book one of the alternative dining places before we board that we have to pay for it, but if we wait until on board we can use our obc. So my question is (and probably can't really be answered!) are we risking losing our preferred date which will be DH's birthday (would take a different date if necessary) or should we simply pay up and guarantee a spot. Just as an added thought: We are thinking of purchasing the birthday celebration package and I am assuming that we can choose which restaurant we want? DH prefers the Sir Samuel's menu above all the others.
  13. The brochure is a promotional one put together by this particular travel agency. It includes other cruise lines and what I would describe as 'put together trips' which include pre and post cruise Hotels, maybe an added train journey, etc, etc. It comes by post as I subscribe to their website and was delivered only yesterday. Some nice sounding trips: pity we can't afford anything at the moment other than what is already booked!
