Just remember that suites do not count, as of June 1, 2023.

We have also been told by the representative while booking that if the $200(two people)is not used, that it will be refunded back to our card if we call Celebrity, after the six months, or whatever expires.  I have never had that happen because I book a cruise with it.  Can anyone on here verify that you received the money back?

Last year I got 3 certificates. I was told they are good for 1 year now.

I saw that, but it says it lasts four hours, beginning at 9 am and ending at 1 pm, so it still gets me to the airport insanely early and I'm stuck on a bus instead of a train. I thought the views from the train would be prettier. I've driven that highway before from Seward to Anchorage.

I called the Hertz in Seward when I was going to need a car from Friday-Sunday and had originally booked a car for 48 hours. The cost was super high - $800 - for a one-way rental from Seward to Anchorage.

I looked at car services and taking the bus. There were four of us. Our one way 24 hour rental was $563.10.

Ok great, we usually upgrade but going on 11 day port intensive cruise, so no day drinking😁

I can't see paying over $400 for the 2 of us, so will pay the difference at night for a good scotch for DH & a Pelligrino for me!

The Zero Proof Drink Package is $30 per day. All your basics are covered with this package, like fresh-squeezed juices, premium coffees and teas, and bottled water.

I would like to do exactly this, but the Hertz website doesn't show that I can do a one-way rental. I'll call the Seward Hertz.

    Good to know. Thanks, Patty.

Last year we sailed on Millie Seward to Vancouver. Great cruise. We had 2 days in Seward before our cruise. I called Hertz in Seward and booked a car one way. Last year Hertz was the only car rental that was doing one way bookings. There was an $250 fee for one way bookings. Hertz in Seward is walking distance from the cruise ship. We stopped and did the Alyeska Resort Aerial Tramway. 5. I was very disappointed with our E Class cruise back in 2019. Limited food choices in Luminae. We will be sailing with friends on Apex in June 2024. I've done more homework this time. If Luminae does not serve Prime Rib. I'll dine in Fine Cut Steakhouse or MDR one night. I'm hoping Raw on 5 will be open on a port day for lunch. E Class Luminae should have more items on their menu. Items only available on E Class ships.

Not all, but a fair number and it is pretty much happening across the board.

Cruise prices are up, but not nearly as much as airlines and hotels.  These price increases are not going away and will probably continue until the pricing relationship between cruising and other travel modes are restored.  Even at the increased prices cruises are more of a discount compared to other travel options than in the past.

If one considers these prices to be too high to cruise then I guess their cruising days are pretty much over.

I've been booking 2 holiday now. Sept cruise out of Vancouver BC the hotel we like is up $300 per night. Our Christmas land trip. British Airways has added an Carrier imposed charge of $1700 pp for business class seats. Other airlines are doing the same.

In Lean, we do NOT cut jobs!  We work to balance the workload among all team members.  If a team member is not needed as a result of improvements (again, based upon the Voice of the Customer), the team member is re-assigned to another task.   In my decades of work in this field,  NO team member has ever lost his/her job.

I was involved in a lean process. We documented the process in detail. Then the work was moved to Mexico. Then after a few years moved to China. If employees could not find different jobs at that location they were assigned jobs 40 miles away.

  8. We start off with breakfast at 7am in our suite. Coffee, fruit and small croissants. Then off to Luminae about 8:30. After Luminae we go to the CC breakfast for another snack and drinks. 10 am if a sea day we check out the casino.

  9. We normally book sky suites. We have the butler bring us breakfast each morning at 7am. Coffee, fruit and smaller croissants.

Friends have had their butler do a set up for G&T. They dont call the butler and asks for drinks.

We have been to 3 parties in suites. They were all on Millie. One in a sky suite and the other 2 times were in the PH. The 1st PH party was pre Revolution and the 2nd was post Revolution. It was nice to see the changes. SS party was appetizers, wine, soda. The PH had the appetizers from Sushi on 5. I do know the last 2 parties they were not charged a fee.

Personally I will fill my own bath water. While I think it a waste of water. Some have their butler fill the jacuzzi on the RS deck.

  10. With all the changes X has been making. I'm hoping it is a good thing for us. At least when it comes to booking a suite. Food not sure yet 😱.  I'm hoping more suites will be available to book closer to sailings.

For those of us that will sail in Aqua or Suites. Book Aqua and wait see what is still available closer to sailing.

When it comes to what the policies are with X. There is always an exception to most policies. Have a good travel agent. I have for over 20 years.

We did our first (and Last) Azamara cruise in April around Japan. They make such a big deal of their White  Night party but it was a massive disappointment.  It was Cold outside and the Line for the food was so long and slow that anyting you had on your plate was ice cold by the time you got back to your table.

No wonder X sold Azamara as it's ships are old and the cabins are outdated especially the showers that are comically small.

We are one and done with AZ also. I liked the dress code, but the ship is just to small for us.
