  1. On a cruise in July. Had both non-refundable and refundable credits. I made sure to use up the amount of the non-refundable. Princess sent me a check for the balance of the refundable. No problems. Princess used the non-refundable first as usual. Sorry to hear others have had issues.
  2. Interesting. Maybe it's the browser? I'm using Google on a laptop, if that helps....
  3. Is this the link you are using? https://wbiprod.storedvalue.com/WBI/lookupservlet?language=en&host=princess.com I just tried it and it works fine for me. I do know that if you make an error in typing the number, you have to go out and come back in again as it gets confused and doesn't give an error message. If the above link doesn't work, try going at it 'clean' from the main Princess page, scroll to the bottom and click on "Gift Cards" (3rd column/last item)
  4. I've not used a wine thermos. I would think if you pour the wine into the thermos, when you get to the dining room, your server will be happy to pour it into a wine glass. If you are asking if you can get multiple pours at a time, ABSOLUTELY! I often order 'Doubles' of a glass of wine. The only time that has been a problem is sometimes a bar doesn't have the size of wine glass to accommodate it. People have reported using Ocean Now to get as many as 4 drinks at a time delivered to their stateroom, so it shouldn't be a problem.
  5. Unfortunately, the key is in purple--"select sailings". Is it frustrating? Sure is. The one time I booked a cruise in July with my grandkids for 2025, of all the Alaska cruises going that included the 3rd and 4th passenger free...of course, NOT the one that we are sailing on.... Since mine is pretty far out, I just keep watching and hope that at some point it will be included and I can re-fare to it. Not much else you can do. ☹️
  6. The word "Reserve" even confused me and I read these boards all the time. On my last cruise, I saw the sign, which says "Reserve". In my mind, I read it as "Reservations" and was confused why they told me to go to the other door to the dining room. It took me a couple of days to figure out what it was for. At bare minimum, they should say "Reserve Class" because then it would have dawned on me what it was for. I'm sure a lot of new cruisers, thought they had reservations and didn't understand what the sign was for...
  7. The really frustrating thing is that the phone number they are calling from is the same phone number as when my PVP (or is it CVP--can't ever remember) calls me. So...no way to tell the difference... 😩
  8. I would have your TA call Princess. It's never listed under Excursions. It's located in the same place as EZ Air except if you have a TA, you won't see it. Perhaps someone didn't set it up correctly at Princess? Usually the Transfers to the airport are available when you book the cruise...however far out that is. For reference, I have a cruise booked from/to Southampton in August of 2026 and the Transfers are available to book---($79 per person).
  9. If you have a TA, you won't see the option about transfers. You have to book it through the TA. They must not know what they are doing... 🤷‍♀️ Tell them to please check again and if they don't see it, have them call Princess. That is supposed to be the point of having a TA. I have always booked an airport transfer when disembarking in Southampton. I don't believe that it is not available....
  10. I think this is mis-leading. Neither Plus nor Premier is "On Sale". $60 is the regular price for Plus and now $90 is the regular price for Premier. The "Savings" they are trying to claim is if you bought the 'pieces' of the packages separately. So, they are pricing out Wi-Fi, drinks, etc.
  11. Since it's only good until final payment, I think I would just re-fare (assuming that's available). I'd rather have cash-in-hand than OBC.
  12. Do you have a source for this? Thx.
  13. They were hanging in the closet for us on the Royal in July. We were in a Deluxe Balcony.
  14. On the Royal, the server suggested to us that we would want to share one charcuterie in Vines. I like hearing that some ships are allowing sharing in Alfredo's also!
  15. It seems like it varies by ship who does the swap. On Royal in July, I called Room Service. They told me to ask my room steward to do it....
  16. You should see a line that says "Referred to Corporate Finance". That is the amount of the check you should have gotten and it is their way of moving money between accounts, ending with a zero balance on your folio. If you didn't get a check or somehow it accidentally got tossed, perhaps you could contact Princess and they will reissue it?
  17. YMMV on this one. We were on the Sky last summer doing a British Isles/Northern Ireland cruise. Guest services told us they could refund up to $50 in cash. In the fall, we were on the Enchanted in the Mediterranean. I tried to get my approximately $50 refundable cash from guest services. The woman I talked to tried to tell me they couldn't give back ANY cash. She said it was money laundering. 🧐 I kept looking every time I walked by thinking if she wasn't around, I might try someone else, but she seemed to always be there...so I just gave up and waited for the check after I disembarked.
  18. It also might depend on where you live now? If you live in a colder climate, kids are kids and our experience is they go swimming even if the adults think they are nuts. Just recently back from Alaska and kids were in the pool even on the coldest, nastiest days.... 🤷‍♀️
  19. It is a window envelope. The return address is: c/o Bottomline Technologies, Paymode-X For Princess Cruise Line Ltd PO BOX 845213 BOSTON MA 02284-5213 So.....you better be reading it closely, or you might miss it. I 'think' the last time I got a check even though the return address was Bottomline Technologies, there was a colorful "Princess Cruises" in blue printed on the envelope in a larger font. This time...just in the text as noted above.
  20. Since I just got my check today for a cruise I disembarked on July 20th, I thought I would update how long it took. 2 weeks 4 days. 🙂
  21. I also vote for using WhatsApp. I used to always use WiFi Calling, but one time on a ship I started having issues with using it on Princess internet. I have always been successful with WhatsApp, though the receiver also must have it on their phone. Set it up before you go and try it out.
  22. You don't need to carry your phone if you don't want to. Many of the things you can do on the app, you can also do on the big screens in most of the elevator banks. You put your medallion on it, so it knows it's you, if you are doing something specific to you, like searching for co-travelers.....at least I 'think' so. I usually do have my phone so rarely use the big screens, but then, I also usually have Plus, so I have the internet too.
  23. They usually will mail you a check. Sometimes the return address doesn't say Princess, so open all your junk mail until you get it.... I'm guessing somewhere between 3 and 6 weeks.
  24. Go do some reading in the Alaska forum. There should be many ideas for you there: https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/33-alaska/
