  1. You should be able to find the water package by logging onto your account. Select the cruise. Click on "Onboard Services" Scroll down to "Beverage Packages". Click "View Options". It should be at the bottom of the list. $7.08 for 12 bottles. Have a wonderful cruise!
  2. We haven't been in that precise location on the Sapphire, but have on other Grand Class ships. IMO that's a great location for cabins! Those Caribe deck large balconies are much loved by many on CC. You should be able to have the dividers between the balconies opened to enjoy a lot of room for your group. Sounds like a great trip! Princess does Alaska better than anyone and the Sapphire will be a good viewing choice.
  3. On the Enchanted B2B in October, both times White and Gold night were NOT on formal nights. There was more participation than I had seen on past cruises, but still a minority. Also, lobster was in the MDR on a night that was NOT a formal night....so check the menus on your app if you care.
  4. Coke zero was available by the can on both of our last cruises--one on the Enchanted and one on the Sky. Cans are now included in the Plus package.
  5. Sadly, we haven't seen any flowers on the tables in the MDR any more for any meal..... I think they disappeared last Spring sometime....
  6. You just need your medallion to buy tokens from the machine in the laundry room to be used in the washers and dryers. It will then be added to your account. The token machines don't always seem to be working, so it's a good idea to go get your tokens before you actually want to do your laundry....just in case....
  7. Because......it still helps me determine if I can justify the cost of the package..... I drink a lot of bottled water and diet coke. DH drinks a lot of coffee drinks....
  8. Thee value of the package also includes the cost of the non-alcoholic beverages. If I drink 3 bottles of water each day at $2 each (I think that's about the cost?), that's $6 more in my justification column for the $60/ day cost.
  9. Note though, that most people talking about going over are saying they went over because the bartender charged both them and their spouse on their account....so one could go over the limit with 8 drinks if all of them were charged to one person..
  10. Sorry, but nope. The only record you have on the app is the count of the number of alcoholic drinks and not even a count of the non-alcoholic ones. I have kept track on past cruises carrying a little notebook with me and writing down each drink. It's a pain, but it helped me figure out if I can justify Plus. (Found out I can... at least at the current price.)
  11. We finally made it to the "Good spirits at sea cocktail experience" on our last cruise. Maybe the drinks are good. The 'experience' just felt like a tv commercial and the bartender wasn't even making any drinks while it was on. IMO...Don't go out of your way for it.....
  12. One thing you could check is: -Logon to your Princess online account -Click on My Account -Click on My Profile -Scroll down to Receive Offers and News -Be sure your Email is "Yes" Depending on your email, it might also be landing in a Junk folder, so you might want to keep an eye on that if you have an upcoming cruise. It looks like the most recent ones I have received came from: info@em.princess.com though there are other email addresses......the upgrade emails come from: info@princessupgrade.princess.com Since you mentioned you have a TA, you might also ask them if they see anything on your account that would result in you not getting emails. That's all I can think of....good luck!
  13. Actually, there was a much higher participation on this cruise than on our cruise last summer where we saw hardly anyone. It was a different cruise with LOTS of 1st time cruisers, so maybe they paid a lot more attention to the emails, one of which did mention gold and white night. I think it also was a much lower average age than any Princess cruise I have been on---many in their 40s and 50s I'd say....don't know if that made a difference....
  14. Just off a B2B (2-7 day) on the Enchanted Princess Rome to Barcelona. We found it interesting that there was only 1 formal night each week---we don't really care either way, but it was interesting. The 1st formal night each week was the first sea day. There was a Gold and White evening, but it was on a Smart Casual night. The weirdest thing was that the menu usually on the 2nd formal night, with the "Land and Sea" option (steak and lobster) was on a Smart Casual night! (This also happened both weeks.) We asked our server about it and he said sometimes Princess likes to 'change things up a bit'. Just thought I should post it so if you are looking for "Land and Sea", you better keep an eye on the menus every night, not just the formal night.
  15. Note that you have to use them to 'book' within a year, not to sail within a year.
  16. Nope. When you either make a reservation through the app, or go to the dining room without a reservation, you need to pick Shared or Private.
  17. I have a cruise upcoming soon. This morning, I got 8 emails from Princess. Each one was for a different date. The text indicated they were changing my dining venue, but the From: and To: dining venues are the same. The cruise is a B2B each being 7 days. The 8 dates are scattered between the 2 cruises. Quite odd. I appreciate Princess informing me....but it doesn't appear anything changed. Last year on the Ruby which was only 50% booked, they closed one dining room. Of course, it was the one in which I had booked all my dinners. They didn't send any emails and I didn't notice until I got on the ship. I then scrambled to set up new reservations as they changed all my Private tables to Shared. Since I have no idea what they are up to this time.....I'll just remember to check as soon as I board to be sure it appears everything stays intact. Just a heads up to always check your reservations as soon as you board because I can't figure out what Princess is up to this time....
  18. On the pool decks, sometimes there is a QR code to scan with your phone to get the menu. Otherwise, you will find it at the bar. In other bars, there are menus scattered about at various tables. If you don't have one, just take it from another table and if someone is sitting there, ask if you can take it or ask a server if you don't see one. If you know what you want, just order it. Princess is much better than a couple other cruise lines that I have been on where if they have the ingredients, they will be happy to make it for you, whether or not it is on their menu.
  19. Some variations of beverages between bars (though you can ask for most drinks anywhere), but here's a start for you: https://profcruise.com/new-princess-drink-prices-2023/
  20. Be sure to mention him in your post-cruise survey! Their bonus/promotions depend on it.
  21. I haven't actually done guaranteed.... However, my understanding is that since you booked a deluxe balcony, they will only put you in that or something 'above' it in cabin classes. So, you will either get a deluxe balcony, premium deluxe balcony, mini-suite or suite. No guarantees on the location....it could be anywhere, but you said you weren't concerned about that. I think you could end up with a really nice cabin. Relax and enjoy your cruise!
  22. I don't think this is correct. If you paid to upgrade to $60, I believe you now have all the perks. It's those of us who booked the $50-Plus package who chose to NOT upgrade that are missing the perks....or have to pay for them if we use them.
  23. Note that you can pick up water bottles at any bar. We usually each get 2 at a time when going back to our cabin to stock up and store in the fridge. If you are interested in sparkling water, the package also includes Perrier and San Pellegrino.
  24. The old Sun Princess had them. This picture is of 2 next door to each other with the divider open.
