Leaving next week for a quickie 8 nighter and I'm hoping this is still the case. I'm also doing the TA next October, 2024 from Port Canaveral to Portugal before it's 3 week refurbishment before it leaves again from Barcelona back to Port Canaveral, which I'm booked on also. I'm praying that they leave the steam and sauna rooms alone. 🙏😬

Thank you all for your ideas. I'll try and coordinate something with the butler and go from there. I also have no problem walking to another location but as that coffee is usually sitting for hours there, that doesn't sound appealing at all. Again, thank you for your comments.

I will be taking my first MSC cruise next April and am cursed with getting up very early each morning 😂😏. My question is; is there a coffee station available at 5am in the Yacht Club area? Hopefully a cappuccino/espresso machine or somewhere that I can leave the other one sleeping in the room and go sit and read for a bit. Thank you.

I am currently a Pinnacle on Royal Caribbean and will be taking my first MSC cruise in April, 2024. I sent in the request on Tuesday and heard this morning from them, Thursday, that I am now Diamond. Royal Caribbean; Pinnacle member status matched to Diamond on MSC.

Looks like you and I are in the same boat.....about getting up that early. Sucks but it's all good. Room service would be fine for me but at the hubby is still sleeping I don't want to disturb him until he gets up around 8 or 9am: must be nice 😴😂 Thank you everyone for your tips and tricks.

First time I've heard this myself and, tbh, quite overdue.

Same with us; we did the Arctic Crossing in August, 2023, and had horrible reception in our rooms. In Solarium it was "iffy" and for me, the best was in the Safari Club. Forget about sea days when everyone is on their phones.

I'm heading out on the Valiant Lady in a couple of weeks out of Barcelona. I know they don't have bottled water onboard the ships so I'm bringing a reusable water bottle with me. What's the story with coffee; I'm not a coffee "mug" person myself. I get up very early, around 5am and I like a coffee "tumbler" with a lid so that I can go sit outside and do some emails and stuff in the mornings watching the sunrise before I hit the gym (if they're open early). Is there a place to get a speciality coffee that early or is it only a brewed coffee in an urn sort of thing until the coffee bar opens? Thanks for all the useful info I've gotten on here already.

I was looking up my upcoming cruise on my home computer (yes, I still use one 🤣) and could not find shore excursions online; I can only see them on my phone, which is very small for me. Do they have them available online to see or am I only going to see them on my phone? Thanks.

I was on this cruise too and went there, in the Safari Club to do some reading on my phone as it was good reception back there too.

That's what I thought too but I was proven wrong on my last voyage. It was on Jewel OTS in August, 2023, and we did a TA from Amsterdam to NJ; 17 nights. No speciality dining venues were open/available. Only the Windjammer. We had done the UDP also. Hopefully that was a one time thing as I love the Chops burger.

I have too. Also, on my last Jewel OTS TA Arctic cruise (17 nights) in August, it wasn't available online at all. I could get it on the ship but not beforehand. I'd never seen that before.

On a side note, I'm on the Edge this October for the 14 night Suez Canal cruise. What's the cost these days? I do love a good steam after a workout but the prices seem to be getting too outrageous for me; even just the daily ones.

I've a question about the speciality dining options on Celebrity Edge. I'm on the Suez Canal trip leaving Rome on 10/30 and am just getting as much as I can settled beforehand. I bought the 13 night dining package and was looking at the restaurants availability. The restaurants were; le Petit Chef, Eden, Fine Cut Steakhouse, Rooftop Garden Grill and Raw on 5. I keep seeing articles and blogs about the Magic Carpet dinners but cannot find it as an option to book it. Is this something you need to book once you board the ship? Is it something not to be missed or will I be better of skipping this one? Thank you for any information about this.

I was doing a b2b and we put a bid in on the 2nd leg. I had forgotten about it until I went to the speciality dining maitre'd and asked to book reservations for the second leg. Told them my room number, that I was already in, and he said "Mr. Jones"???? Ahhhh, no it's "Mr Smith". I had never checked my emails after being on the ship and didn't know 😂. From a Balcony to a GS. That was exciting. I had to ask the maitre'd what room I was now in 🤣

On Jewel currently doing a TA and steam room is still here but......often not working properly 😪
