  1. Don;t believe there is one specific location for all cruises with so many ports in the area. Contacting Regent migh give you the current answer but, it can change before your cruise.
  2. As Carol stated we cannot recommend specific TA's for you but, we can say you are much much much better off if you book with an experienced TA who will work for you, answer your question and even better rebate a significant amount of dollars to you before you travel. You will need to do some work to find the right TA but, with Regent prices, you will for sure save in the hundreds of dollars and possibly thousands. Good luck hunting. As to your question about bringing a game system and connecting to the TV, forget that idea as you will not be able to connect anything to the in suite TV
  3. ;Your husband may be correct as they started with 11 A320S but, currently have an additional neo's which were brand new. You have to remember, the interior of all commercial airlines are specified and bought by the airline not provided by Boeing or Airbus, simply installed at the factory so while most people complain about the manufacturer putting in substandard seating, it is not their fault. This is similar to the fact that airlines buy planes without engines and the airlines like the interiors specify the engines and Boeing/Air bus simply install the customer supplied engines. Airbus A320-200 11 — 186 Airbus A320neo 6 30 186 Deliveries began in October 2019.[19] Airbus A321neo 2 48 244 First delivery (CC-AWT) in July 2022.[20][21] Airbus A321XLR — 14[22] TBA
  4. Update, tried the source app and could see and make my preferrences. How strange that the website does not work yet the App that so many complain about does work????
  5. Thanks for the education njnorseman. Guess where I worked we had a kind of hybrid of what you described. Guess was a kind of adhesion contract even thoush it was company to company. You see we were a Government Prime Contractor where the Ts and Cs were non-negotiable including the flow dows of the Ts and Cs to our Subs. I was both a Prime Contracts Contract Manager and a Subcontract Subcontracts Manager so I saw it both ways. We has no say in the Ts and Cs in our Prime Contracts and the same in our negotiated subcontracts. So while I used the term negotiations it only applied to the Statement of Work and pricing. Can't even include schedule as while that was in the Contracts, it was extremely fluid depending on the Agency, weather, etc. And in our case the Ts and Cs had been in existence for many years and trying to go to court to challenge them would have been a great way to cause our company to deciare bankruptcy and even winning would have ended our contract with the Government This is all why I asd SLSD for his opinion as was not as familiar with the Seabourn Ts and Cs.
  6. All good points. Forgot another clause in the Ts&Cs. And that is about saying no class action law suits. This could mean each agreuved customer might need to file their own lawsuit and each go to separate arbitration. Not a lawyer but was a Contracts Manager writing negotiating etc many contracts in nine digits. perhaps your lawyer husband could look at the Ts&Cs and provide a professional legal opinion before some people spend large sums on cases with little chance of recovery??
  7. While you might be correct if this went to court believe I read in the Ts &Cs require that if filed it goes to arbitration. They have to be served in king county Washington. So no trial. Time will tell
  8. Seabourn like probably all cruise lines protect themselves from issues like this stabilizer issue. Wonder if you have read the ticket contract and Ts&Cs an old adage is that contracts are written to protect the writer Not saying we would be happy with the way this was handled but when booking a cruise one has to be aware of what can occur and the limitations in the contract one agrees to when booking. sorry you can’t accept what has been provided but don’t believe you have a choice. good luck
  9. Certainly hope not. 29 days sounds like a long AA meeting!!!
  10. Interesting, was finally able to get to the page where I could make the described changes and clicked the Pref's link and got mostly a blank screen. Possibly because my cruise is not until June but, no way thee to change or even see any possible Pref"s????? Thanks in advance,
  11. Rather than wait on seabourn suggest you and/or ta contact seabourn. Your cruise is less than 60 days away and have to believe they should have an answer. From what I have read in this thread South Georgia is out for this season
  12. There is no promise/guarantee for any port/stop on any cruise line for any cruise. This is clearly stated in all cruise line Ts &Cs. agree missing South Georgia would not be a good thing but you take your chances with EVERY cruise you book.
  13. Just need to remember that excursions are sometimes cancelled even after departure so availability is one thing but, will that excursion you booked for actually occur. Chances are they will occur but, sometimes they don't. Just like ports you book for may get cancelled at the last minute for circumstances beyond your control.
  14. No way to know as you have to remember that $7k refund covers the entire US and Canada so for instance the fares are less from the west coast. Relatively sure all their air costs are for the average costs for the entire country. and since nonstops generally are higher than multiple stop flights so even if they have contracted rates for your itinerary there might be an up charge to go non stop.
  15. From our trip on Quest a few years ago in mid December temps weren’t cold low 30s the coldest and we wore too much. Especially trudging there the snow we were quite warm wearing mid weight long underwear with long sleeve shirt Most important is waterproof pants and if doing it again just the waterproof over the thermal underwear. IMHO buying all they recommend is overkill waste of money and if walking a lot you will sweat.
  16. What about the days lost going back to Ushuaia ?
  17. Nobody is out of work from my original post. Tha ex presidents will have salaries on $500,000 plus perks as “advisers” starting Jan 1 just read the filed 10K link posted eariier in this thread.
  18. Not necessarily falklands. In normal times fewer than 50% of scheduled stops actually occur. We are 5o% 1 out of 2 stops occurred.
  19. Guess not a big deal when presidents of both Regent as nd Oceania are suddenly removed and suddenly replaced with th previous presidents becoming “advisors” thought Montegue was well liked??
  20. Do you really think the port parking garage is more secure than a public garage?? And the only thing the hotel could tell the OP is whether the garage at the hotel is public or private, likely private. To find out if you could park for multiple days in any garage is first determine if the garage you want to park in was public and then simply google the public authority owning the garage for any parking limitations with a handicapped identification.
  21. Regarding Saturday and Sunday. That is the job the porters signed up for. Most of the cruise traffic in Miami is Sat and Sunday. Many fewer departures/arrivals on weekdays. Likely higher pay on the weekend keeps them working. As to finding your bags that is at the end of your cruise and much more effort by the longshoremen at that point than at the beginning where the luggage is simply added to the available cart and pushed to the ship so not pertinent to this thread..

  23. Good luck on 3 days. Am guessing you are unaware of changes in the air department. No change in the 270 days the difference is that requests go in writing with priority to the closest cruises and reports of weeks to get initial responses to 270 day requests some reports of many weeks to get a response. Not even TAs can phone the air department. Reason was identified as staffing issues. Requests now go to reservations who forward to the air dept. hope you get your offers sooner rather than later.
  24. Don't believe there is any requirement to fly thru a Gateway City. Rather than wanting decent flights at reasonable prices you should be trying for reasonable flights with no upcharge. Suggest you provide Regent you preferred flights including Houston/Dallas and see what the response is from Regent. Remember you can request an unlimited number of flights and only pay the deviation fee once you agree. Good luck
