We fly from YVR and always book to go through customs here. That way we can make sure we are early on our first flight and not worry about our connector flight and have time to relax and maybe have a bite to eat. Just my opinion on what we do.

I agree. We really enjoyed their music. Luckily we are booked on the Rotterdam later this year so can see them. Will make us be more careful on what ships we book as HAL entertainment lacks in my opinion.

Looks like you’re already having a wonderful time. Enjoying your pictures! We saw the ship just as we were flying into Montreal yesterday to finally see our daughter and grandkids. I told my husband we need to do this cruise next year and tie it in with a visit.

Yes, my Grandpa was one of them! I’ve always wanted to go to Holland but unfortunately have never made it and doubt I will.

There’s a lot of Dutch in Canada! (my grandparents were Dutch)

@Copper10-8 From what I gather it hasn’t improved but depends on time of day. Toronto is just as bad as well.

Although CATSA says 5-10 minute waits, those are not accurate as it doesn’t include check in with air lines luggage etc. Would appreciate if you get a chance later to let me know your experience. Thank you.

@Alphen just wondering how the lineups were at the airport for check in and security at YVR? We’ve heard long wait times.

There seems to have been a lot of issues with Flight Ease these past few months. Certainly makes one wonder what is going on and can they be trusted with bookings any more. We will certainly think twice about whether we use them on our next cruise. Glad your situation worked out. Have a wonderful holiday and cruise!

We had friends from Philidelphia cruise up to Vancouver who wanted to do a whale watching excursion but the weather didn’t cooperate and the company had to cancel it. So glad you had a nice day for your bike tour. It’s hit or miss our weather lately that’s for sure. Although the 2 resident bears woke up recently up Grouse mountain, it still has snow but the Grouse Grind is now open. It’s annoying the cruise lines changing requirements on such short notice.
