    We just returned from an RCI Jewel Arctic Circle itinerary cruise and some of our ports were very disappointing but, Geiranger & Bergin were the highlight !!

    My cruise is roundtrip from Vancouver. We land at noon and sail that same day at 5:00pm. We usually keep our phone on airplane mode the whole time we're away from home (USA). I'm so stressed about this whole random testing. We'll test before we leave home per RCI policy to board the ship. So just what happens if we don't see the possible email ?

    Not a fan of the Centrum at all....but other than that those class's of ships are great. But I always miss the Promenade.

    We've recently been in an OS on Explorer (as well as Navigator & Jewel) and no embarkation day lunch.

    Our last UpBid from GS to OS came 5 days before we sailed.

    Can cashing out non refundable OBC be done on a Celebrity ship also ?

    We've done the Ireland, Iceland & Scotland with Celebrity out of Dublin and it was an amazing itinerary. Overnighted the first night in Dublin.

    Very doubtful this will happen...Bar Harbor depends quite a bit on the cruiseship tourists during the limited season they visit there.

    Agree...we've had some great window 4tops also but haven't had to pre-request them as they arranged it once onboard.

    We've always found the onboard staff to be very responsive to their guests concerns. Glad you've found this to be true also.

    Pricing may have changed. There's no problem in waiting to book the transfer once onboard.

    At times we've gotten the email offer and at others I've just gone directly to the website. As far as when you can bid it has varied....some ... yes...at 30 days some as far out as 90 days.

    Suites can arrive an hour before/after so it really doesn't matter. Actually the last 5 cruises we've been on this year no one was checking times at the terminals....San Pedro, San Juan, Port Canaveral and Amsterdam.

    Thanks for the heads up....We'll ask for a mattress topper on Serenade for Sept & Oct. We had to have two recently on Jewel. Navigator, Explorer and Harmony not needed...very comfy.

    Bering Sea is a great suggestion in Ketchikan...however...children must be 5 years of age. Opt for the Lumberjack show in that port.

    There may be no charge for your baby (in lap) at that age...Agree check directly with your cruiseline.

    What happens if you don't have access to a phone/email and don't know that you may have been chosen for random testing when arriving at YVR for a same day cruise and just go straight to the ship ??

    We always stay at the Outrigger Waikiki....take a taxi/Uber/Lyft. Book my own air never use cruiseline air. I got a great price on my business class for my one way May 9, 2023. On AA and will use ACA for my return back to LAX. I'm sailing from HNL-Vancouver.

    My Cap One takes less than 2 weeks. Amex shorter than that.
