i read in a different group someone somehow found their new cabin assignment and it is a ugly downgrade from balcony to inside cabin. they can not change until everything becomes finalized -

since the cabin assignments is going to be random this means it is basically like a guarantee booking. it would be nice if carnival us that guarantee cabin rate considering they are taking this long to process this

On the newer Norwegian class ships they too do events in the atrium already and they also have issues with background noise complaints and lack of seating. Looks like carnival somewhat copied Norwegian -

i guess that is why they are not switching everyone yet. they want to sell out all of the good cabins and leave the crappy one to those with existing bookings i am on the same sailing, been booked it since the summer and now i have a tbd cabin 😞 -
when did you book your cruise? the new free at sea wifi plan now is now per person to use the wifi, connect your device to the ship wifi network just like you were using the app. in the broswer on your device there is a specific page you need to access to access the internet. it is something like login.com . the app also has instructions

Booking Shore Excursions Prior to Sailing-New ones added?

1 - yes you can cancel and rebook with no penalties. refund goes back to the original payment method you used to make purchase 2- it is possible for excursions to come and go with new ones added and some removed. better to check every now and then -
with the price drop of my cruise, i think i might have to eat the early saver cancellation fee on my existing booking and then just rebook the cruise all over to get a decent cabin still waiting, my two bookings show TBA

you can make reservations onboard the ship. they only allow a small amount of reservations to be made online -
almost 2 hours to midnight and still no cabin assignments. hopefully tomorrow is the day we get the assignment

the obc can be used to offset the cruise next purchase . for example for 1 cruise next is 250 dollars, you get 100 dollar obc thus reducing the overall price of the cruise next to only 150 dollars

when i was on the joy last month, it was actual scale with number. the number was only visible to the staff member working the ride

last year i had a porthole cabin booked on the magic. as the cruise got closer to sail date my cabin somehow became unavailable and they moved me an aft oceanview cabin.when i called to called to get something near the original location i booked i was told they was no cabins available in that section 😞
