  1. There was an Indian dish on the dining room menu almost if not every night on Divina 12/30-01/13. I posted all dinner menus in my live review on here if you want to check them out.
  2. We used GoPort to and from MCO/PC and vice versa. You can schedule it ahead of time on their website. Super easy. https://www.goport.com/?package_type=port-canaveral-transportation
  3. Did he give you a package form too?
  4. It worked out very well. Everything came back on hangers except the socks and undergarments. Our room attendant left the bag on day 8 of our 14 day cruise. I don’t see why you couldn’t use it anytime you want to. The only instructions from him was that we had to send out all 20 pieces at one time
  5. Did the ship hit something?
  6. I’m a little bit over organized but I laid out the laundry I was sending out on the bed and took a picture of it. Only reason I did that was NCL lost our grandson’s hoodie last year. Our room attendant was insistent that it wasn’t included in the bag but it was the only hoodie he brought with him and he had dropped pizza sauce down the front which is why I sent it to be cleaned. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️
  7. That’s the form they gave us as well. You still want to fill it out and take a picture of the filled out form. I also recommend writing someplace on the form “prepaid 40 piece package” just as a reminder to your room attendant. Our attendant knew we had the 20 piece package because he mentioned it when he saw us going into our room that evening but the Guest Services rep blamed him for putting the $63 charge through.
  8. If you want everyone to benefit from one of the discounts you mentioned it would have to be done that way. Otherwise each couple will have their own reservation number. Sorry I just went back and read your original post. I had read it as “will everyone benefit from your status match and receive the discount” I now see that each couple may have their own eligible discount. Never mind lol🤦🏻‍♀️
  9. Our room attendant left the bag with the form right before our B2B ended You may have to ask your room attendant about it if you haven’t received it yet.
  10. Can you book it later than June?
  11. Are you planning to have all 3 rooms on one reservation?
  12. Maybe. I don’t remember them asking me any specific questions about that sort of thing. I’ve only just used that website for insurance for this last cruise we just returned from. You could look on the website and do a mock search for that cruise.
  13. We purchased the 20 item laundry package for $38 prior to cruising. Of course there was a charge on our on board acct for $63 and change for the laundry after we sent it to be done. I had my edocs printed out and brought the paper receipt showing I had purchased the package. They immediately credited the $63 charge. I did not get 15% off the price of the package. I was told, and take it for what it’s worth, the packages are already deeply discounted. If I were to pay the on board pricing ($63) I would be eligible to have the discount applied to that. Buying the package is a much better deal. Now someone else on board may tell you that you can get the discount on the package. It’s MSC there’s some small stuff we have to let go sometimes or else our heads will explode. lol I have the laundry list form if anyone is interested in seeing the individual charges I can take a pic and post it.
  14. That’s odd. If you can see the excursions etc you should be able to see the dining packages. There is a thread on here from someone currently doing a b2b on Seascape maybe you could ask your question there.
  15. I love your posts you always get me to literally lol which results in my husband asking what made me laugh on CC? lol Please report back about the hot tub on the balcony room. After only being able to get into a hot tub 3 times in 14 days on our last cruise we thought the room you chose would be a good compromise. Also like the anytime dining option. After a few spine surgeries relaxing in the hot tub is something I look forward to on vacation but when a ship is booked to capacity the hot tubs look like huge human soup pots that are over flowing. 😏
  16. You can change the date, not sure about getting a full refund on that same cruise at a later date. With a changed date you may be able to add the insurance through insuremytrip or a similar company
  17. Wow that’s an impressive resume on HAL! I’m sorry to hear that your Alaska cruise on HAL last year was a disappointment. We cruised on Eurodam to Alaska and loved it. Of course that was pre Covid. Call me crazy but I miss the Veendam. Nothing like parking on Front St in Hamilton, Bermuda. So sorry they got rid of her and now it’s almost impossible to find a ship that can dock there. Are there any? I love the old smaller ships that look and feel like a ship. We don’t need the water slides and bowling alleys. HAL is more expensive for sure and it used to be worth it because it kept away the party crowd. What date did you price the Mera Bermuda for? I’m looking at 09/04 and it’s about $2k for a deluxe balcony (the port charges are higher than the Boston to Bermuda on Pearl.)
  18. HAL is my favorite hoping the new President will get it back to what we loved about it. The older we get the more we appreciate the smaller ships. Yes I think the Mera Bermuda cruise is included in the flash sale.
  19. I noticed that Mera was doing Bermuda from NY. We have family in Manhattan and they would like to try it so we may book it for Sept although it’s hurricane season. I wish the Canada/New England included Quebec City as well. Nova Scotia is beautiful but we've done that itinerary already. We really would love to get up to Quebec City on a ship.
  20. Thanks! We went the same week last year and it was chilly going down to Bermuda the first day at sea but Bermuda was in the high 70’s low 80’s. They heated the pool on the ship to almost 92 degrees…it was like a huge hot tub. Of course the kids all loved it!
  21. @tkwbearI ran this by my husband and asked him what he thought and his response was, and I quote “no, too soon book the Pearl” 🤷🏻‍♀️
  22. It’s quite simple actually. Cruise lines can not sell out the ship if they don’t have enough staff to handle it. It was pretty obvious that the crew on our sold out sailing was exhausted and over worked. Heard “under staffed” from officers and managers alike when we spoke to them. The problem with the cruise lines is they really don’t care about being under staffed. Not just MSC, all of them. They don’t care that it impacts their already over worked crew negatively and that the cruise experience for paying customers is also negatively impacted. Been on 40+ cruises and have been a big cheerleader since first cruising with MSC but until you yourself experience what these folks did and what we did a couple of weeks ago you really shouldn’t dismiss these reports. I’m not here to change anyone’s mind and I doubt the OP is either. It’s important for everyone to know all experiences good and bad.
  23. I thought you had to use the website from the country of your residence?
  24. Wow that’s a great price. I just realized I hadn’t added my VC number and I had included drinks and WiFi. Did you include that? Our grandson is 9 I agree. I think it will be a different type of passenger. I like that we can use points for the one way flight to FL and take a train home from NY, we’re only a few hours from there. Hmm We were going to take him on the Pearl from Boston to Bermuda because that’s so easy for us living an hour from the ship but 7days for 3 of us in a nice balcony is almost $4k all in.
