  1. You will have no problems getting envelopes... sorry, your 'friend' will have no problems 🙂
  2. I should perhaps add that on a cruise line that officially discourages individual tipping, there is certainly no overt expectation from the staff and from my experience no need either, to tip 'early and frequently'... We always reward excellence at the end of the cruise, never before and still get great service, but you'll never convince those who want to believe that they need to 'pre-tip' to get the service they want... 🙂

    Divina

The answer depends on which package you have, the price limit will be shown when you purchase the package or in your cruise documents if it is an included package. ... if you have already booked just let us know which package you have and we can be more helpful...

    Divina

... and the gelato/milk shakes in Piazza Del Doge, also I think in the sports bar, where there are some paid food options...
  5. The Deck 7 route is the one we use as well, it avoids wind/rain/heat/cold and lets you see more of the rest of the ship. The Deck 15 route is fine when the pools are not busy, so pretty much just breakfast time, but I'd suggest walking that route in reverse the first time so you can more easily identify the door to use to get back inside at the right point for Le Muse.
  6. Perfect, he did say he was expecting to be back onboard before our Feb cruise, so good to hear he was right. I know he will take great care of you, once he is over his jet-lag 🙂
  7. Much as I expected then. We were last onboard Divina in June this year and will be back in February, greatly looking forward to that.
  8. Do you know how full the ship and YC are for this cruise? Sometimes the TA's with MSC can be with a lower passenger count and lower staffing so it will be interesting to hear how it goes. Hope you have a great cruise though. If the Butler Elvin & his assistant Ari are still on board I hope you will be fortunate enough to have them assigned to you.
  9. Your Butler will be able to get you to the head of any lines that there may be, but if you are not carrying your own bags, then the actual time you can get off and claim the bags remains dependent upon both the time the ship is cleared and the time the bags are ashore ready to be collected.
  10. There are always no-shows on the day for any number of reasons. They like to have the bases loaded so they know where to find those most willing to pay to move up to fill those last minute vacancies.
  11. ... or just use So5 or one of the others that often opens on sea days during a cruise...
  12. No idea then ... You should be able to see any dining packages that are available so either they have all sold out already or they have not been made available yet, but for the record, that screenshot I posted earlier is from a cruise that is 189 days away...
  13. Are you booked with the 'Bella' experience?
  14. You need to get to the same place as you'd use to book an excursion or make a Spa reservation, you would have a list of options near the top of the screen that looks like this: Do this on a PC not a mobile device.
  15. If you look on the website under 'Plan my cruise' there should be a section for 'Speciality restaurants & shows'. If there are packages available for you to book you will see something like this: You cannot make the individual restaurant bookings before you board though. So make it a priority to get that done as soon as you can if particular nights are important to you...
  16. This is fleet-wide and applies in all speciality restaurants where the packages are valid. The package gets you the 'Experience Menu' which is essentially a table d'hote menu (Fixed price ) and you pick from the list of options for each course. You can swap out items on that menu for items on the wider 'a la carte' menu at a 50% discount (with some limitations). I don't see this as a problem as the full menu tends to be much wider than the menus offered on other cruise lines where the speciality dining tends to be more limited and without the option to pick from a wider menu at additional cost.
  17. If they stick to Italian traditions, they would put them up on Dec. 8th.
  18. ... unless you are in YC as the deposits there are non-refundable.
  19. Are you sure that your Voyager discount has been deducted from the TA price you are comparing?
  20. Ditto... Our junior butler was so enthusiastic our butler had to be extra prompt or he'd find his assistant had already got there ahead of him 🙂
  21. An AirTag (or Android equivalent) takes a lot of the anxiety out of this process. Too late to help in this case I know, but this issue comes up often enough that we will never travel without them again.
  22. Personally I'd love the aft location, but I avoid cabins with connecting doors at all cost. I'm sure they can be perfectly fine, but noise travels more easily through the door and if you are unlucky with your neighbors then it may not be great...
  23. The standard offer usually looks something like this... You also get whatever the current offers are on your normal MSC website, so we got an additional £780 OBC for our next YC booking as that was the current UK web promotion at the time.
  24. This recent trip report may help, not quite the right ship but near enough to be helpful I hope:
