  1. If you book it before the cruise then one of you has already paid for it, as you can't reserve in advance without paying...
  2. The bathroom storage space is a SS on Millennium is adequate, just oddly placed. The shelf under the sink unit works but you might want to pack a foldable storage bin as there is nothing to stop small stuff rolling around. The lack of any other shelves is irritating but we managed.
  3. .. .but to be clear for the OP, these are fixed sitting times, not the start of a period where you can turn up anytime you want, so once they are able to get themselves assigned to a table and a time, then that is the time they have to be there.
  4. ... sadly even in Murano in January this year the cheese service was a shadow of what it used to be with a sad little selection on a plate without use of the cheese cart... I'm hoping that was an aberration because the whole Murano experience was just 'off' on that cruise (Eclipse).
  5. With a 5:45 start time they will expect you to be seated before 6pm, it is a fixed dinning time not a range. You would need to be on a higher 'experience' level to get 'anytime' dining. I think you will find there are actually 3 sittings for dinner but you can only indicate early or late when booking, and it sounds like you would prefer the middle sitting which is one of the two 'late' sittings.
  6. Yes, this isn't something MSC can control as the ability to do this is down to the hardware and OS on the phone.
  7. This is normal for iPhone, you can't share a WiFi connection over WiFi, you can share a cellular connection over WiFi...
  8. Normal in the cruise industry sadly, a lot of people got booted off of their 2023/24 Japan cruises with Celebrity, and it wasn't even the first time they had been moved... Between whole and partial charters and the fallout from all the Covid cruise cancellations things can and do get messed up from time to time.

  10. Celebrity has cancelled entire cruises to sell a charter in the past as have other cruise lines. Generally speaking I'd want to cancel if there was a significant partial charter on a ship as it tends to have a huge impact on the ambiance.
  11. Priority embarkation is no longer a thing, except for suites and Zenith. The main issue with a 1pm time-slot for you is that you may miss your special lunch that is still part of the Concierge perks, as it often ends at 2pm or sometimes even earlier...

  13. It is 'All Included' rather than 'All Inclusive' but yes that should be what you have got as Aqua class is not normally available without it... So you will have the Classic drinks package, basic WiFi and prepaid gratuities.

  15. Hopefully you'll be wheels-up shortly. I've had that problem with delays getting reversed a few times out of DFW. Once we had even left the airport completely after being given a 4 hour delay and were settling down to order food at Razzoo's when our phones started buzzing with a 'head to gate now' message... Didn't even have to to get the food to go sadly, but we did make the flight.

  17. It is one of the oddities of the packages that frequent sparking water consumption is almost enough to make the upgrade worthwhile on its own... Without that though I'd still suggest doing the math if it is spirits not wine that is driving the upgrade...
  18. You will have either fixed or anytime from the time you book, it isn't something you usually switch between while onboard. As above, better to take select dining for all 7 nights then just change the time you dine each night to suit your needs.
  19. Select 'Dining' at the bottom of the screen then scroll across to 'Main Dining' and select Luminae/Blu/Main Dining as appropriate. From there you tap 'Memu' and you can then pick a day.

  21. Happy to be along for the ride... Did some injudicious scrolling and mistook the hotel photos for cabin photos and was very impressed, for a few minutes at least 🙂

  23. Did you check the up-charge to just order it anyway? ... I suspect it would take a few to cover the upgrade price these days...

I think we hit pretty much all your issues on our last Tuscan visit on Eclipse in January, but I spoke to the Maître d' on the way out as he asked if we had enjoyed ourselves, gave him the full run down and he asked if we would hold back on any feedback comments and give him another chance to prove they could do better, and he made a complementary reservation for us two days later. To their credit they did a far better job the second time around but it was clear that everyone had been coached to hit perfection this time around, from the initial table seating, dead centre of the window for the best view (complete with a pod of dolphins performing as we sat down 🙂 ) to the extreme care being taken with each course. It was a win, but the problem remains that this should be the normal standard, not a recovery exercise.
  25. If you have not already been moved or cancelled then you should be good to go, the big problems were all a few weeks ago...
