I'm on the TA this October and at the risk of invading OP's thread, can you tell me if your cruise was at capacity for your sailing? How did you find the dining venues? If you didn't get reservations were you able to walk up and wait? On regular shorter cruises I've been told you can only make reservations at the same restaurant twice- does that apply to the 2 week TA? I've never sailed VV before and I'm so looking forward to it!

ooooohhhhh there is a huge 'I told you so' looming somewhere out there- gee I wonder who was telling everyone to just slow their roll, that it was just internet issues? Oh, that would be ME!!!

I feel ya... but given that she posted ON HER PHONE after someone tried to lift it I'm presuming she got it back... and as @sid_9169 said, I can't see anyone messing with her, with Mr Megan around or not, I'm figuring she's just having wifi issues on this sea day. In ports she's able to use local Wifi.

You guys all know that @MeganGC1983 is going laugh her a$$ off at all the speculation when she finally gets back here, right? Regardless, we amuse ourselves however we can! We are here, Megan, patiently waiting... (well, some more patient than others!)

I’m not sure why it’s so darned cheap but hubby and I got an offsite parking reservation at IAH George Bush Houston for under $3 a day! We are parking for 3 weeks and needed cheap options but this seems really inexpensive!

me... I'm gold and my tags were colored the same. Just checked now and they're red. I am however Priority because we're staying in a suite. Anyone not Priority have red tags?

@Greenpea2 I feel ya! And worst, my DH laughs at my lists and how organized I am about packing, and invariably, EVERY CRUISE, he forgets something, that I miraculously have managed to pack! One of these days I'm just going to pack my stuff, and see what happens when he gets onboard!

@sid_9169 I second the powder recommendation to remove sand... I buy a small bottle of baby powder from the dollar store and put it in my go bag, even if I'm not beaching it. I had a woman spill an entire bottle of coke on my foot once in Nassau- I washed it off but we were in a sandy area and I couldn't get my swim shoe back on because of the sand... out came the baby powder and I was able to get my (wet) shoe back on minus a pound of sand!

@MeganGC1983 one quick question- our TA in October returns to Miami... does Virgin offer airport transfers or do we have to find our own way to the airport? I'd love to know the rest of your gang's experience with getting to the airport...

Thanks Megan for sharing your cruise with us, and especially for your homework about our cabin assignment! I hope to share a cruise with you someday! (unfortunately it doesn't look like the Tribe cruise will happen for me 😪)

@MeganGC1983 I know you book cruises etc for others, but is that your full time job? Just wondering what 'work' would make you put time in while on a cruise?

@MeganGC1983 I really hope not! I saw pics of 8322Z on Scarlet Lady and the lifeboats are one cabin over... REALLY hoping that it doesn't, or I won't be a happy cruiser on a transatlantic cruise for 2 weeks! But thanks for the detective work- please let me know what you find out.
