I am reading no lounge benefits for Pinnacle converted zeniths. but who knows. You will love the newer X ships.

Do you like the pinnacle benefits better or the zenith ones you will be getting? People on the Celebrity boards think the zenith benefits are better and most are poo pooing the pinnacle ones. I cannot give my opinion because we are not pinnacle or zenith, but we believe that compared to other cruise lines, Royal's benefits cannot be beat (at least at the D plus level).

Wait till June 5 when it will be done. Then log out and log into both of your accounts. No need to sign up again.Your Celebrity Captain's Club points will not change, just the "status" will show. Same the other way around. Not too different for us since we are Diamond Plus and Elite Plus before this, but very exciting for many cruisers who want to try out both the sister lines. Many people will be confused that the # of points will be same...no, points do not change, just status. Some Pinnacle friends were still grumbling.....they get the Zenith status but no access to Zenith Lounge/Michael's club and some other stuff. And likewise some Zenith people we know are grumbling that to get to Zenith you need 3000+ points compared to 700 to reach Pinnacle, and so on! Will be fun to read the boards in the upcoming days!😉

My DH takes our plates/glasses if we bring any to the room, and leaves them on their dirty dish carts, if the room steward forgets to remove them. But then I have also seen room stewards remove them from the cabin and collect them on the floor in the hallways saying someone will come with a cart and collect them.

That is my pet peeve! Have witnessed the worst of that on the Silhouette, where four elderly people hogged two tables, one where they were playing cards, another where they set up a game and their towels and one of the women shooed away every one who eyed that table with a cane. She also then yells at one of the guys with her to go and put some more towels on "their" loungers she was reserving in row 1 by the pool. 😆. People were looking all over for a table to sit and eat at, but they were not moving or letting anyone sit for a bit t eat, and then vacate their reserved table after eating. Lot of people got yelled at. Till one brave couple said they will sit to finish their lunch and then leave. Lady calls over a crew member passing by to complain that the couple sat on her reserved table. Crew member explains about no reserving and gets yelled at too, but he was firm and rearranged their towels, books and game board to let the couple sit. The foursome were grumbling and complaining and threatening about putting it in survey, to which other people witnessing this said they got their video and will put on social media. This behavior from our respected elderly senior citizens!

@CruiseDad-NYC I had to go back to your review and read it again. Appreciate the pictures and your posts. Thank you. We just booked the Eclipse for a 9 N Caribbean in Nov. We picked a deluxe verandah cabin on deck 8. Hopefully we made a good choice in cabin picking. (?)
