  1. That sounds great! We have done only 3 on Princess and are on a very low tier. The Enchanted sailing was a result of FCC from two cancelled cruises during the pandemic and Princess gave 2 x the value in FCC plus threw in the packages, OBC, upgrade and extended the book by date. Among all the cruise line cancelled sailings at the time, they were the most generous and accommodating. Enjoy your cruise. I am already looking forward to seeing your fantastic pictures!
  2. We loved the Enchanted Princess. The ship is beautiful. Great service, great staff, great embarkation etc etc etc. We have an on board deposit so will be looking at some sailings. It is not RC, with the flow rider and the slides, it is different so go with that in mind. I think it is more tasteful, a bit more adult oriented, and I think kids may be bored. But that's what it seemed to me. Some things are better some are not. But "better and not" are relative like food is. You cannot beat the Royal perks, like the CnA drinks, booking discounts, etc. But we really enjoyed Princess and would go again on the newer ships.
  3. A little before the actual Chill Island. It is behind the hammocks on the left. There is no swimming area, just rocks and a view of the ship. Lots of lounge chairs. I don't know if it has a name or is part of Chill Island. Are we on the same cruise? I would love to say hello.
  4. @Ocean Boy OB, it seems we will miss you by one day in FLL? We leave on the Symphony on the 4th. I hope to see pictures......in sandals! 😁 Have a wonderful cruise!
  5. No, you will be fine. The Oasis pool may seem crowded, but plenty of space on the island. We usually make a sharp left after the bridge and sit there. It is a quiet place. We also like to walk around and check out other spots, but that one is my first go to.
  6. I think the option did not come up when I booked within final payment date.
  7. Hope you will post pictures. I would love to see the Monastery and Magic Water!
  8. Sorry, not the way I would want to spend a wonderful cruise......counting warts and documenting patchwork. 😁. Was there nothing more interesting to do?😉
  9. If you get to go ( and I wish you do!), I hope you enjoy it a lot! looking forward to see your MP pictures Laura and John.
  10. I have read great reviews of Jiffy Jeff via all cruise critic members. This was some years ago. At that time they were not servicing the Orlando or Central Florida area: only the Port Everglades, Port of Miami and Palm Beach area. I am not aware if they have expanded their business to other Florida areas now, but yes they were excellent. We had booked them then, and our flight from Newark to Miami was cancelled. No bad weather or anything, but the cockpit windshield got cracked when landing at Newark. First they tried to send another plane, which also had some issues so they cancelled the flight. Jet Blue then routed us to Orlando via the 9 pm flight. We had a buffer day between flying and embarkation day. Jeff was in constant touch with us all day. We asked if they could pick us up from MCO and take us to Miami. They did not service the Orlando area and so we had to cancel. He had suggested renting a car from MCO and driving to Miami. We did that and dropped the car off at our Miami hotel. Point is great company. If they meet your needs, consider them!
  11. We loved it too. Cab both ways.
  12. We have been to Breezes and Pearl Island. Pearl Island was just OK. Very small for the amount of people they took. Did not enjoy it and will not do that again. Breezes was nice.
  13. True! Sandals staff would refuse to accept tips from day pass people also, as we experienced in Jamaica and Antigua several times.
  14. @Sea Dog Greg, I hope you feel happier and better each day. Try not to get depressed.....just look at your puppies, they will make you smile. How is Linda doing?
  15. I go there too when I am walking to Front St from the port. But have found the same "Old Amsterdam" brand Gouda at Trader Joe's and Whole Foods many times. When in Curacao try the Gouda from the small store in front of the ship.
  16. I agree 100%, but it is what it is. I don't follow this excellent thread to read about retirement plans or debates on other cruise lines/ships. I do a pass on those posts and read the live reports that real cruisers actually on this cruise post. I really appreciate them taking their time out the vacation of a life time to take us along with them virtually.
  17. It is a very good excursion with many repeat cruisers. You will enjoy it. We have done it 3 times now.
  18. I agree it is dangerous. And I wouldn't even dream about doing it. But this did happen.
