Ditto what was said above. In March, 2022 we were in RS. Blinds were broken, table was cracked, curtain old. But it was clean. In October, 2022 we were in a SS and carpet was old and furniture old. Cafe Al Bacio needs new furniture. We still love the Equinox! We are doing a B2B next month. The crew is the friendliest around and the ship is homey and inviting. I do not like the furnishings on the Edge class, not inviting or comfortable looking. I would choose Equinox any day! As to the pictures above there was a crane accident at the dock where ships were to get revolutionized and they had to move it to Spain(I think that’s where it was). Because it took longer to get there they could not do everything that was scheduled. I know the Silhouette was completely redone and I believe one other ship but not sure which one. Any ship you choose you will have a fantastic cruise! I prefer the older ships with the comfy, homey vibe. Happy Cruising!

As said above go the day before and work it out with them. I find Murano most accommodating. I have been glutened in Tuscan. They have gf pasta. Sushi on 5 is my husbands favorite so we eat there a lot. They do have Tamari instead of soy sauce, just ask for it!

No pool and no hot tubs. No bar but servers will bring you what you want. Also, not handicap accessible as you have to walk up stairs to get there. It’s very windy up there but peaceful.

Celebrity just announce Ascent Co Godmothers of Sandy Yawn and her sister Michelle Dunham. I never heard of Godmothers before Simone Biles was declared Godmother of Beyond. So I did a search to find the rest of the Celebrity Godparents. Quite an interesting list and I wonder if Celebrity would like to fire a few of them? 😂😂

I would pay extra for an extravagant midnight buffet..with ice sculptures and chocolate fountains! I would also pay extra for Broadway type shows.

I save all my daily’s but I doubt that they would be the same as your sailing. We were on two ABC cruises 6 months apart and activities were different on each one.

The current cruise on Equinox is a 6 night cruise therefore no Chic Night and no Lobster or Beef Wellington. The menu is very uninspiring. Some nights there is not one item I would want! We will be on Equinox next month.

Same with us. Finally talked to Retreat Concierge and it helped a bit. I just hope I never never him again!

Watch your charge card! This happened to me a few weeks ago! My TA called Celebrity and they stated payment never came through so they did the charge. Then I was charged twice! I was scrambling to put a payment on my CC as I was over my limit! As fast as those charges appeared on my credit card it took over a week for the reversal!

We have been on Equinox 6 times and a B2B coming up in September. Atmosphere at night can be different cruise to cruise depending on people abroad. There is always a lot of people participating in silent disco and listening and dancing on Abba Night. Comedians are ok. They do special late night shows that are more adult in nature. As stated Oceanview Cafe is open until about 1 am with pizza, desserts, snacks, etc. also, coffee and goodies at Cafe Al Bacio. Besides Abba there may be more nights of older rock and roll! I believe there is live music out by the pools. We usually avoid the crowds and go to the solarium in the afternoon. Games to buy into right now are Deal or No Deal and I heard bingo is coming back. They also have pop up games going on around the ship. Give Celebrity a try! We love the Equinox! It has not been totally refurbished so i looks a bit old in places, but it’s a comfy, homey feel.

I just heard back today from SC. I actually received a call! She stated she was waiting for my dining reservations to be accepted. She could have at least said she was working on it after I sent the second email. She was very helpful. Hope you hear soon! Are you on 9/24 or 9/30 sailing ?

We disembark on October 8th so we will leave the ship nice and well stocked for you! Corner afts are also nice! Enjoy! I would end up throwing my sister overboard within the first 20 minutes of cruise! 😆

We are on a B2B starting 9/24. The SS Conciege just called me, too! She said she was waiting for confirmation of our reservations as they do not normally schedule 7 pm in the Specialty restaurants. All good! She did tell me they only have medium in pajamas and not ordering more.

To be honest, we had the worst butler. I finally had a chat with him and no improvement and I finally talked to Retreat Concierge and he improved a bit. All we asked for was iced tea in afternoon and a bucket of ice twice a day! On the following cruise we were in a SS and butler was a bit better. We just have never gotten a butler that wants to go above and beyond. what sailing will you be on? Just having the separate bedroom and 1/2 bath is worth it! Good luck!

We were in a RS on Equinox 3/2022. We had made two specialty restaurant reservations before we cruised. On board we asked 4 days ahead of time for additional reservations and we’re told those times are not available. All they had was like 8:30 pm. We also hosted a cabin crawl for about 12 people. When I asked if some snacks could be provided I was told it’s $20 a person! We are sailing in September in RS and shoreside contacted us a few weeks ago with a bunch of questions. I answered and no reply…been almost two weeks. I did send a friendly Did you receive my email a week ago and nothing. If I don’t hear anything by Monday I will contact them again.

Jiff contains no animal derived products

Jiff is not made with lard, at least in the area I live. Sorry, but those “real” peanut butters are dry. I’ll take Jiff over them any day!

I meant to say the meatballs are gluten free! If it bothered you maybe it was cross contaminated with something gluten. I have had the gf pasta, meat sauce and meatballs on a few cruises and I have not gotten sick. Sorry you had a bad experience
