  1. Hello, Operational reasons also includes 'we've had a better idea'. Virtuosa in September 2025 has had 3 & 4 night cruises replaced with 7 night itineraries. Regards, Cublet
  2. Hello, My maths says 2.5 vouchers as 2.5 * 40 = 100. But then pigs might also fly. Regards, Cublet
  3. Hello, The 'With Drinks' offer at the time of booking is for the 'Premium Extra' package: https://www.msccruises.co.uk/on-board/dining-drinks/drinks-packages Regards, Cublet
  4. Hello, I've seen them worn around the pool. The weight of them does cause the top half of a bikini to reveal rather more than it should. I only wear my pin badge on formal nights. Regards, Cublet
  5. Hello, One of my bookings on Virtuosa is back on sale on Virtuosa (including my previously booked cabin). The bad news is the price at which I booked, £2.3k, is now £4.9k. I can't decide whether they think I'm an idiot or hope that I am. Regards, Cublet
  6. Hello, For RCI & X it's for cruises embarking after 5th June. But given they have only allowed themselves a week to sort it out, I'm not holding my breath. Corporal Jones ...."Don't Panic"! Regards, Cublet
  7. Hello, I can assure you that not only is that not a great loss, it may also be to your body's/hair's distinct advantage - were you/your cabin steward be able to locate any! Regards, Cublet
  8. Hello, No-one has added that MSC has cancelled MSC Virtuosa out of Southampton departing in September 2025 so my B2B YC bookings have been cancelled with a generous offer of a refund of deposit! An August departure going into September remains. I am eyeing suspiciously my (consecutive) 4th October booking to see if that follows the others. Regards, Cublet
  9. Hello, Whilst I agree that cartons of milk are available from the WJ, that's only for as long as they have them. On longer cruises, 12D+, they have had to resort to filling carafes or bulk dispensers with milk in WJ. Regards, Cublet
  10. Hello, It was on the Independence out of Southampton and a US table companion said he didn't know what a kettle was. I remember asking 'what do you call the thing you boil water in' but I cannot remember the reply. Regards, Cublet
  11. Hello, MSC has said that they will be showing all the matches. Virtuosa does have a bar called 'Sports Bar' on 16 but (a) I've never seen it in use, and (b) two people and the ship's cat in there and it would be crowded. My money would be in the 'TV Studio & Bar' on 7. Regards, Cublet
  12. Hello, Thank you for that. Do you have first hand experience of La Locanda? I am wondering if the smell of the pizzeria side of it pervades the drinking (only) side of it? Regards, Cublet
  13. Hello, As the MSC Preziosa doesn't have a Champagne Bar like Virtuosa and Euribia, can anyone with recent experience advise which of that ship's bars offers the best selection of Champagne and other sparkling wines? Cheers! Cublet
  14. Hello, That's why I suggested the Passport Bar as it's one of the few full bars with an espresso machine whilst the Cafe al Bacio is an espresso bar that serves (some) alcohol. I think you'd have better prospects on MSC where almost every bar has an espresso machine. Regards, Cublet
  15. Hello, My money would be on the Passport Bar on Deck 3. Regards, Cublet
  16. Hello, I've never read a dog complaining about not getting the points on a Cunard TA whilst in kennels. Regards, Cublet
  17. Hello, I've been trying to convince RCI of this for months but the pond life that, post covid, have replaced those that knew/understood (and been let go), will not have it. 😢 Regards, Cublet
  18. Hello, It was quite a few years ago on Constellation but I did an 'Extensive Wine and Food' cruise to France and Spain. The menus on board were supposed to be indicative of our ports of call. It was officially stated by X that we could bring on-board wine from our various ports of call. Whilst I have many France and Spain cruises under my belt, none since have been called the above. Regards, Cublet
  19. Hello, Agreed - Diamond Priority Disembarkation is only at the end of the cruise. If the ship arrives at 08:00 I very much doubt if Yacht Club priority disembarkation will do you much good either. Regards, Cublet
  20. Hello, Anyone joining me on this one to the sun? Regards, Cublet
  21. Hello, Anyone joining me on this one to the sun? Regards, Cublet
  22. Hello, Anyone joining me on this one to the land of 'fire and ice'? Well, not a lot of ice but plenty of sun on my previous visits! Regards, Cublet
  23. Hello, Any more family and friends joining me on this one? I don't know where we meet in the absence of the Champagne Bar and the meetings are not always announced in the daily paper. Regards, Cublet.
