  1. Hello, You should look on the bright side. At least by not answering your call, you are not being given incorrect information. Regards, Cublet
  2. Hello, Perhaps it was a typo, but are you sure you didn't intend "cack IT department"? Regards, Cublet
  3. Hello, This is why I like cruises to the Med with a stop at Gib on the outward journey. I can call into Morrisons to stack-up on emergency provisions should X's catering fail me. In June, on Silhouette, the selection of imported cheeses with biscuits and crackers came 'sans' biscuits so I had to call into an Irish supermarket in Waterford. Regards, Cublet PS: And it was only two miserable Carr's crackers too.
  4. Hello, Just because the passenger can't do it, it doesn't stop the corporation from doing it. Some year in the early 2000s, I was bribed to move a booking from Voyager to Celebrity Century - increased OBC, upgraded cabin and free flights were offered to change. As it happened, Norovirus came as a free 'bonus'! I can't remember how long after X sold-off the ship but it was overdue. Regards, Cublet
  5. Hello, I think there's a competition in the galley. Swill is put out and staff place bets to see if anyone eats it. Regards, Cublet
  6. Hello, It's a vicious circle: The louder the music plays, the more deaf the sound technician gets; the more deaf the sound technician gets, the more he has to turn up the volume; the louder the music plays, the more deaf the sound technician gets and so on and so on. In Two70 it's not only that the 'music' [that's a matter of opinion] was loud, I could feel my inners vibrate. Regards, Cublet
  7. Hello, Generally the 270 days refers to the two primary doses (or 1 for J&J) ie not including the booster. There is currently no expiry date or period on the booster. You say you have had three vaccinations so that's probably the two 'originals' and one booster so you should be OK. Regards, Cublet
  8. Hello, If you want postings based only on the facts and not conjecture, then (1) no thread will ever achieve double figures in terms of number of posts, and (2) some people will have lost their sole purpose in life. Regards, Cublet
  9. Hello, I was referring to the main engines in the engine rooms (excluding emergency ones), not the number of azipods. Regards, Cublet
  10. Hello, I have not tried it. This is chiefly because I read a copy of his book from the library on Silhouette. It was not until page 380 that I found anything I would want to eat. Regards, Cublet
  11. Hello, Not a lot of detail. Says "one of the engines......" - the Quantum does have four of them. Regards, Cublet
  12. Hello, Interesting that RCI has just announced (via FB) the same sort of thing for its Anthem sailing of 23rd September. There appears to be a pattern. Regards, Cublet
  13. Hello, The OP query was regarding a 'vaccination questionnaire' not the 'health questionnaire'. The first I have not heard about, the second I am familiar with. Regards, Cublet
  14. Hello, Unless you want watches all the way up your arm like some war-time spiv, Indulge's $800 OBC is near impossible to spend as a male with no females to purchase for as watches are all there are to buy. (On Anthem May-June this year.) Regards, Cublet
  15. Hello, Depends on the region (and in all cabins): Europe usually yes, UK departures definitely yes. But kettle or no kettle, JS comes with a Lavazza coffee pod machine. Regards, Cublet
  16. Hello, 'Washcloth' I do not know about. 'Facecloth' = 'Flannel' is for personal use and is available if not already in your stateroom bathroom. 'Dishcloth' is for washing dishes and is not provided (so I take my own). Regards, Cublet
  17. Hello, I would like to gatecrash this thread with the following. I boarded a coach at 07:15 Saturday morning from Celebrity Silhouette. And there I remained until 17:30 when the said coach arrived at my local (Bristol) drop-off point having waited for Sky Princess passengers to disembark. This latter activity was not helped by some idiot setting-off the fire alarm in the luggage reclaim hall. Listening to some of the coach drivers' conversation during the morning, some had been informed Friday evening of the forecast late arrival of the Sky Princess though there were mixed messages, discussed above, as to why. Regards, Cublet
  18. Hello, The LGBTQ+ meets have, over a number of years, moved around the ship with no fixed location. In recent years it has settled in the Champagne / R Bar. It's location can be checked either in the 'Cruise Compass' delivered daily to your cabin or by checking the RCI app (when it's working!!) If the 'Community Notice Board', by Guest relations still operates, you can write a card of your own proposing an alternative time and venue. There is also a 'solos' daily meeting and lunch together though usually hosted by a youngster from the activities' team that always gave the impression he wished to be somewhere else. But you never know your luck! One thing of note re your sailing date: I was on Indy departing on 4th July (forget the year) and expected fireworks (at least) and maybe Sousa played over the ship's speakers - but there was nothing and that came as both a surprise and disappointment. Regards, Cublet
  19. Hello, For anyone interested in B2B arrangements, Eurofins is currently setting-up ‘shop’ in the meeting room adjacent to the Sky Lounge. Regards, Cublet
  20. Hello, Judging by the adverts and promo videos played on a constant loop on stateroom TVs, there are no passengers at all over about 45 years of age. Regards, Cublet
