I find that this is one area where the Celebrity ships fall far short. Whether you are a runner or jogger trying to get a run in or a passenger just trying to enjoy the sunshine, this area becomes chaotic and frustrating to navigate. I have seen many near miss collisions. I avoid this area as much as possible!

Hi Everyone,
I've just gotta say it. Amazing how some can take this discussion into a tax debate. Talk about looking a gift horse in the mouth ! Sheesh :)
Here's a thought : If you don't want to pay the taxes, then don't enter the contest. This way, you don't have to worry about spending a week in the Caribbean, visiting lovely ports, dining on excellent cuisine, enjoying great entertainment, and, be pampered by fantastic Offers & Crew on a stunningly beautiful cruise ship.
I've entered. Hope I win (or another dear CC member). I'll be happy to pay the taxes should I win.... which probably won't happen :)
Thank You Celebrity for offering the contest. Most of us do appreciate it.
Well said Andy! The negativity can certainly become contagious. I'm with you in that I would be more than delighted to win this contest! Thank you so much for bringing it to our attention. I have entered and will squeal with delight should I or another CC member wins and brings it to our attention.

You can certainly get something to take back to your cabin. Just ask them not to open it for you.

Thanks for the explanation.

1 point per day on inside cabins. You must have accumulated points prior to this system beginning.

Nothing to pay. Enjoy your drinks and your cruise!

I would like to add my thanks for posting this. It is so very reassuring to know that safety truly is Celebrity's number 1 concern as they say at muster. I have almost always experienced great customer service at every level on Celebrity so I am not surprised, just pleasantly confident that we are in good hands while cruising.

Frankly, the only reason we booked CC on this cruise was we booked on board and there was minimal difference in price between this and the veranda, plus we got 3 perks instead of one.

Us too. Although, I am looking forward to the new embarkation lunch. I'm not sure that we will have a reason to use the Concierge. We have never had difficulty using the shore excursion desk to book excursions and we have only ever used the specialty restaurants once.

We have done 3 cruises with the Classic package and never felt the need to upgrade. Everything we enjoy is included. Give it a try for a day or two. You can always upgrade, if you find it necessary, as long as there are 3 days left to cruise. Enjoy!

She can always ask for a private area
Agreed. I value the security procedures as I value my safety. I also value your wife's dignity. This would be the solution to both issues. It is an unfortunate bi product of today's world situation.

I can't speak for other cruises since I wasn't looking to book a new one. But for our April, 2018 Hawaii to Vancouver cruise, I was able to save over $1100 re-booking under the BOGOHO pricing.

That's great! Glad to hear that some can take advantage of these offers. Our cruise comes out over $1600 more than we paid if we were to book under this promotion.

Lots of threads on this topic. The concensus seems to be that Celebrity jacked up the prices just before this promotion so that not very many will see a bargain unless they were not looking at prices prior to the promotion.

Be aware that (on the Reflection at least) all menus and entertainment are repeated on these cruises. It was the only disappointment, but a disappointment nonetheless.

I agree! This is a great idea for a sticky! Hopefully, it is doable.

Too much to list. I would advise checking out the boards and then coming back with specific questions if any remain. Besides, personal tastes and preferences would make it impossible to answer satisfactorily.

Go to your roll call. All the info should be there.

Absolutely! I believe there was steak, chicken and pasta every night. Also shrimp cocktail as DH had that every single night. Enjoy!

We have b2b cruises booked on Infinity. We have a substantial OBC on the first cruise and would like to use it to book an excursion on the second cruise. Would Celebrity allow such a transaction?
Unfortunately, no. We have tried this and were told that it is not permitted.

I absolutely loved the lamb shank on our Eclipse cruise and was extremely disappointed that it was not offered on our Reflection cruise. I was not expecting the menus to be so different. Looking forward to my lamb shank on our upcoming Eclipse cruise. Also, the Aspen coffee in Cafe al Bacio.

go online with Resorts for a Day. we were just there in March. it was a wonderful day. just be aware that they do not have an actual beach, we loved the pools and the food. most likely going back again next year
Can you clarify? I have seen many pictures of the beach at Santa Barbara Resort. Was there a problem with the beach or did they somehow remove it???????

Good on Celebrity! Happy customers are repeat customers.

I didn't find the Reflection any more crowded than the Eclipse other than the Sky Lounge. That said, there are some areas that I find crowded on both ships such as the Entertainment Court (or whatever it is called just outside the theatre), the Martini Bar and Cafe Al Bacio. It was difficult at times to find a seat or get service or see if anything was going on. Certainly not a deal breaker as we have booked again on the Eclipse. I just don't think that those areas are large enough to serve the purpose they were designed for.

We have booked Concierge class simply because of the 123 Go perks offered in the past. Not sure if we would book it the future. Cost will be the determining factor. Are the few extras worth it? Only you can decide.

Website Issue For Canadians
in Celebrity Cruises
Posted
Not sure what one would have to do with the other. I also entered the contest and all is still in Canadian dollars when I log in. The big shock is the jump in prices. Unlimited internet for my 14 day cruise went from $349 to $401!
