  1. I repeat. Book for six. A table for four doesn’t help you. I have done this.
  2. We were on the Connie with family in June in Greece. We had a great time. Terrific entertainment ( much better than the Edge). Shabby stateroom but very clean. MDR pleasant and always something good. Wonderful service. Petit Chief fun experience. Always easy to get on and off ( no crowds). I would definitely sail on her again.
  3. Just stay in the casino ( no windows)
  4. It was through Tours by Locals ( Anna Karadimou) she had a comfortable SUV (6 of us) perfect English and her husband drove.
  5. We left the ship at 7:30 am and returned to the cable car around 3:00 as our tour ran from 9-3.
  6. We were there in June on the Connie. My son arranged for a private guide with a car but even so, she met us at the top of the cable cat. We are Elite plus and were in concierge cabins. The combo somehow got us first off the ship as soon as it docked. We had no line for the cable car. Our ship was the only one in port that day. We had a marvelous day touring the island. No lines getting back down either. The only way around the cable car is to take a boat tour from the pier.
  7. My daughter expedited her two children’s passports and got them in six weeks but it cost a total of $300 for two. Kids cost more as they are not considered renewals.
  8. Check out the NCL transfers from the airport. January in NY could be sunny and brisk or a blizzard. That could be the longest 24 minutes of your life.
  9. Consent for travel with one legal guardian. Look on internet. You can print the form off. It gives you a place to list all the ports. Then take it to any notary. Last year we didn’t have it on a Caribbean cruise and we’re never questioned anywhere but this year my daughter is getting divorced and her future ex husband has agreed to it. Thank goodness as it would be terrible to be denied at the last minute.
  10. Mayor Bloomberg could buy a house anywhere and he has one in Bermuda .
  11. All’s well that ends well but Celebrity still comes off as clowns.🤡
  12. Seriously there is something seriously wrong with the IT department, the website and accounting at Celebrity. We are talking about a lot of money and time and high blood pressure.
  13. And the wait to speak to excursions is usually shorter. Very good suggestion
  14. Our cruise is on the Silhouette out of Fort Lauderdale on January 15. Our reservation says check in starting December 1. Usually edocs are available to print out several days after checking complete. Our NCL cruise in February says check in available 21 days before the cruise.
  15. Getting and finding Eden on the Edge is creepy enough.
  16. We did a wonderful Med/Greek Island family cruise in June. We had three Concierge cabins and early seating in the MDR. We had a great time. Entertainment was excellent. Far better than the Edge ( January and March in a Celebrity and Royal suite). The food in the MDR was very good. Le Petit Chef was a lot of fun. My granddaughter wasn't feeling well one night. Our MDR waiter Michael put together all her favorite foods and personally delivered a tray to her cabin! Yes the cabins were dated but the shower was excellent and hot. Getting on and off was easy because it is a smaller ship. I would definitely sail on her again.
  17. I was told to Never touch the confirmation in any way online once you pay in full. You need to call. Crazy stuff. And we were booked through the casino, going to Europe with three family rooms with thousands of dollars in discounts dropped and business air for six people paid for. If you wanted to see someone whose hair was on fire ! After my heart slowed down and I called, they fixed it. I’m not sure that would ever make that kind of commitment with Celebrity again.
  18. You must speak to Celebrity. Stay in that line for the 45 minutes. They will fix it. It happened to me too. I changed the bed configuration from twin to together and they dropped all my discounts! When I called they manually fixed it. Is this any way to run a business!!!!
  19. They strongly recommend passports . She also has a signed form from the father. We know several instances where there was a fire on the ship and illness and the families had to fly home. So for us it was a situation of better safe than sorry.
