  1. We took the Cocoa Beach transport excursion via Royal. The bus drops you off at Ron Jon's parking lot. The beach is approximately 2 blocks from, and one is able to rent chairs and umbrellas.
  2. We did it and never doing it again. Very little time at the park. Our bus/shuttle left at 1:30 and arrived at park at approximately at about 2:30-2:45. Outr sail was in October and park closed at 6 as they had a Halloween event with an additional entry fee. We rushed an made some 6-7 rides. But it did not matter as the return time was 7PM. The cost of the transport wasn't bad but the cost to the park for the little time was outrageous.
  3. Unfortunately many have so little knowledge. On recent Anthem sail my granddaughter was D on her seapass, gold on her app and D on the website. 🤣 Conversely, her sister was D uniformity. ,
  4. Absolutely. Order multiple apps and desserts🤣
  5. .You can contact the general GS # 800.256.6649 or if you need any pre-cruise planning help 800.398.9819.
  6. Maybe it is the date of your cruise. For instance, my dining time is listed on my August Utopia sail, but not on my October Symphony sail. However, my lunch time at Jamie's is and assume because it was a cruise planner purchase.
  7. I believe they retain the parent's tier/loyalty level but not the points/nights. The points are earned based on the number of nights sailed.
  8. It's a Crown & Anchor Royal program offered to those individuals that have earned 340 nights that is why the code of DP340. By the way there are restrictions such as not available on holidays, spring break or a period from late spring and summer. I learned of the promo on this board as Royal doesn't volunteer the information.🤣
  9. Shorts and polos are allowed in both SR and MDR for breakfast, lunch and dinner. If you go to your sail, there should be a sample menu for you to peruse. By the way the menus are basically the same from ship to ship, however, there are 2 Giovanni's restaurants--one is called Giovanni's Kitchen and can't recollect the other. I know that one has pizza on the menu.
  10. Did the policy have an amount of coverage. Usually, the premium quoted is based on the cost of not only the cruise fare but air fare, hotel, etc. I use a travel card (Chase Sapphire) and I'm covered up to $10K per occurrence for all associated cost of the trip. If I have a family member traveling with me and I charge the cost to the same card, I'm covered up to $20k.
  11. I’ve not experienced this, however, I do the leg work and know what the bottom line is and if different I usually compare the details. Recently, there was a price drop on my January ‘26 odyssey sail and agent tells me that it’s higher than the original booking. So I go back and redo the booking and I get the same results. So I email the agent and advise if they used the solo supplement promo of D 340 and that the reason for the difference. I even sent her a screenshot. Saved myself $275.00
  12. There was a sale on black Friday where 1 person and 4 devices. The initial device was $20,99, 2nd @ $14. 3rd @$ 4.98 and 4th @ $2.01 pp/pd. I was in a separate cabin and shared the internet plan with my son and family. I sail solo and usually I don't get internet service the first day, then I use my D+ 2 days free and then use my Prime Casino discount of 30% for the remaining package days.
  13. Off the phone with the Casino agent and the 3 niter in their system, for whatever reason was recorded, as an offer rather than an actual booking even though I have a reservation number and a cabin assigned. Crazy, was told that it will be corrected within 48 hours. Hope so.
  14. I was told by the landside Casino rep that the free play amount(s) would show up as soon as you enter your seapass in the slot machine, like the small amounts that one gets based on their C&A status.
  15. I haven't seen any news on Royal and Blue Lagoon. The excursion is still being offered in their cruise planner, but I haven't seen any news on this board. When I was in Nassau on Anthem in February, MSC was offering Blue Lagoon excursions to its passengers.
  16. We are on the Utopia in late August and are using "porthotelshuttle.com. The shuttle will pick us up at airport and drop us off at Homewood Suite (Hilton) Port Canaveral. Next day the shuttle will pick us up and take us to the port. On debarkation day, the shuttle will take from the port terminal to airport. Cost is $52 R/T.
  17. I believe the credit if it's from the Casino it will show up when you start playing. No T&F is strange. Maybe since you are such a good Casino client 😊they are eating it.
  18. The D+ representative was having similar issues--no Specialty D, soda package and multiple excursions try. The selection (reserve) shows in light gray. Been trying since early April. The 2 segments are Casino bookings and I have a room assigned for the 3 nights and a guarantee for the 4 niter. I don't usually book guarantees and not familiar with any unusuality when booking in the cruise planner. However, I have a cabin assignment for the first leg (3 niter).
  19. I have a 3 and 4 days b-b on Utopia sailing August 22 and wondering if this is normal for a new ship. Called D+ desk and the individual was not aware and after on hold for a few minutes, he says that it's an IT issue and will be resolved soon. I thought to myself BS.🤣 Have others had similar problems when sailing on new ships. I know in the past when Quantum, Oasis and Symphony were introduced I had no problem making reservations.
  20. In my experience, not for the $ off certs. To: @DandDM--booked Utopia on a b-to-b 3 and 4 niters and had to pay upfront the entire cruise fare. The offer was free for the principal and second pax a discounted amount.
  21. I contacted my TA and they wanted a snapshot of the fare breakdown as the agent came up with a higher fare cost. The problem was that the agent did not enter the solo supplement (DP340) promo to get the lower posted price. Got confirm and awaiting corrected invoice.
  22. Was doing a mock booking of my 11-night Odyssey OTS for any price reductions and noticed that an Ocean View Balcony is cheaper than a Studio and Obstructed Ocean View Balconies. The mock booking saved me $262+ than originally booked a few months ago. Not complaining at all.😀 .
