A sad example was some years ago when a child was playing in the pool while the parents and other relatives were bs and drinking. This sad episode forced the cruise industry to place lifeguards at all pools. Sometimes, I feel sorry for the lifeguards regarding the attitude of some passengers, but also no matter the weather and if the pool is open, they need to be on guard.

Curious, what is the difference. Is it "subway" vs "skyway". I'm planning on not checking my bag and can I assume that the skyway would be more convenient as I'm equating the "airtran" tram running at Newark Int'l, however this is outside TSA

I have a United flight that arrives at Terminal B. I have a shuttle reserved at Terminal A. What are the logistics. Instructions given is to take the subway in lower deck/basement that connects all terminals. What is the estimated time frame to get to terminal A. Also, can one walk from B to A.

The early flight is a little chancy. I have a sail on December 3 on Allure and initially had a United flight leaving at 12:30 PM and was advised by experienced folks on this board not to take a chance. Bush Int'l ' is an estimated 1:45 -2 hours and also one needs to be at airport at a minimum of 2 hours prior to flight. Ps. This is my first sail out of Port Galveston. Changed my flight to 1:30 PM.

I agree. I had a flight on United in early December of last year from Newark Int'l to Miami for a sail on Oasis. The flight was the first flight to Miami and when I get to the gate, I'm told that my flight was cancelled, and they could not guarantee me a seat on any of their flights until 8PM. Now mind you, there are lots of flights to Miami and Ft Lauderdale from Newark but of no help. Frustrated, I was about to give up and then I remembered Jet Blue. Sure enough after trekking with bags to a different terminal I got one of the few seats available. No texts and no emails, even though I have the United App on my phone.

Simply amazing, got 7 individual e-mails informing me of a time change to my beach excursion at Puerto Costa Maya. Since I also had 2 other excursions on this sail. like an idiot I opened all of them.😜
