    We did airbnbs and loved the food we were able to cook. In addition I really don't like to greet the world without having had a cup of coffee. We were off the beaten path which we loved. Talking to the locals who appreciated that WE appreciated the difference. And ate lots of THIS!

    I saw that piece also and kinda briefly freaked. I talked to my O rep and TA and they said they've never seen it in their many years with O.

    Amen, brother. The ferries were great. And of course being there after the ships leave is a huge bonus.

    I'm kinda busy right now but you should be able to google "executives mailing addresses oceania cruises." I've done this a number of time and not just for complaints.

    Regarding credit card disputes I find it almost crazy that the credit card company wouldn't revoke the charge. As I may have said before, it's like I ordered a fancy sports car and got a mini.

    Oh could be. Our travel box contains one for those recorkers for sparkling.

    Oh I totally agree with you. We've only done maybe 10 or 12 cruises with the last few being O. So I pretty much just went straight there for our next cruise. I'll be doing some 'background' checks' going forward.

    FLAT?????? In decades of drinking 'sparkling wine' (Champagne and others) I've never opened a bottle and found it flat. If there are any oenophiles here could you please explain this. TIA.

    Yep. I assume other cruise boards would or do have similar situations?

    No, I understand that part of the process. But what if people want to book up all the 'cheap seats' and then others who had already been 'guaranteed" got moved up. Does that not ever happen? PS: No D'oh from me. I'm always learning.

    Something I'd like to suggest. Unless you anticipate using these items going forward I wouldn't spend a ton of money. Some of the brands mentioned aren't cheap. Just my opinion.

    LOL. Never thought of that. I AM old and know a number of people who served there so I guess I'll stick with Saigon. But thanks for this.

    Lucky for us ours was a DIY trip. Rented a car, stayed in airbnb's etc. Left Santorini for Paros and Naxos.

    Huge difference between "decorating" and finding places to put all the gear that a family of four comes up with.

    Santorini is a MESS! A business owner there told me that Chinese people will come there to get their wedding photos taken. Not to get married, just the pix! We hated it.

    I carry my water bottle with me 24/7/365 so not an issue for me.

    Just because they CAN do something doesn't mean they should. These aren't small amounts of money that are changing hands. I'm getting better service than this from AMAZON!!!
