The winter 2024 itineraries for NYC stink. One ship again and the 12 day stops in Bermuda. A complete waste as far as I'm concerned

I agree with everything you said about the GA. If we were not in the Haven I would not have been a Happy Camper. Our friends were right down the hall from us in a Spa Balcony. We had dinner with them a number of times. The service was ridiculously slow. Lack of staffing was evident everywhere.

Bingo.... even in the winter out bedroom ceiling fan is on. Unless its very cold our heat does not go on. Bedroom is about 58F

It's a crap shoot. Some people have great success others not so good. You need to pick and choose your times

Room stewards are very good about working around passengers schedule, but it gets to a point where they just have too many to deal with. Our room steward ask us about what time we would like our cabin cleaned and towels changed in the morning. We said we are gone by 9am so anytime after that. Everyday at 9:05 she was there. In the cabin next to us I swear the people never left, I've never seen anything like it. The woman had just had knee replacement done 12 days before the cruise. Something I still can't wrap my head around. The few times we saw her out she was in a wheel chair or using a walker. Our room steward had 8 Haven cabins and 12 regular cabins to do each day. In a few weeks after our cruise when the once a day was going to start for standard cabins she was still going to have 8 Haven cabins and 18 regular cabins.... she was not happy about the change

I had bought the unlimited package on our 12 day January cruise. After we got on the trip I upgraded to the streaming package. It sucked....within 18 hours I was back at the internet desk getting a refund. The guy working the desk wasn't too happy but I was able to clearly show him the speed was only about 5% better than the unlimited. He agreed and I got a refund. Others had the same issues and some other had great speed

You didn't miss much. We saw the Fleetwood Mac aka "Rumors" band on our January 6th cruise. It was OK, frankly I've seen a lot of other cover bands that were much better

I don't see how they could stop you from walking off the ship with your suitcases as long as your fully paid up

The cabins never have enough power 110 power outlets for me with all of my camera gear. Many people forget each cabin has at least one European type power outlet. The power adapters are cheap and work very well... https://amzn.to/3Jlw511

In the Haven on both the Getaway and the Escape I work flip flops, shorts and t-shirts to breakfast. Once in a while to dinner. It was a little strange seeing families, couples in PJ's at breakfast.

I know for a fact they are refundable, at least they were in December when I canceled them and was fully refunded back to my CC

Maybe, it really depends on how many week long passes they have sold. Usually they will offer a day pass on port days. Unless you buy a week pass nothing is guaranteed. On our 12 day cruise the thermal spa was sold out and they had a waiting list. On port days they would sell 25 passes

My wife and I did a 12 day on the Getaway in early January. Service was great all overall in all of the Haven area's. Having said that we did notice some issues with a lack of staff. Not a big deal at all. In fact we probably would not have noticed it except the crew mentioned it a few times. Not just being short staffed but crew members staying on longer than they normally do

The environmental excuse is getting really old. We heard them all on our 12 day Getaway cruise. They changed port times (for the worse), missed a port and then had three sea days home. The meet and greet got a little testy at times with the one officer trying to explain things and he ended up just talking in circles about it ended with I don't agree with it but its what corporate needs to do.

Any of why the ship is behind? Weather is fine, tomorrow morning looks good.
