  1. Unfortunately on 12 NCL cruises that has not been the norm. A few cruises I have been on the muster drill last 30 minutes. 100% of the reason was due to passengers coming in late or who were not able to shut up for 10 minutes. Only a handful lasted 10 minutes or less
  2. Personally I would not bother getting Vibe passes if I was in the Haven. My wife and I were in a Haven Spa Cabin at the was perfect...
  3. My wife said when one of the managers at the buffet told me about having no soft serve on our cruise the look on my face was priceless 😆
  4. Friends who were on 13th of the Getaway Haven aft cabin didn't have any issues with vibrations. However we had dinner twice in the aft dinning room (Tropicana) and Cagneys. We noticed a considerable amount when having dinner
  5. Hopefully they will have soft serve..... We had none on our cruise, they said the delivery truck never made it to the pier
  6. At check in for our cruise in NYC on the Getaway (Haven) we were told our photos were fine.... then the women said its a good idea if we take them again. Why? I have no idea, but the same thing happened to almost everyone I asked.
  7. Hope you all have a Great time! My son is a HS History / English teacher in Arlington, VA
  8. On the Gateway last month, I swear it was the only cruise I've been on when the fridge was actually cold. Most of the time it seems to be in the mid 40's
  9. F1 is pretty big around the World. Hopefully you'll be able to catch it
  10. I brought my Lefeet S1 Pro with me on our 12 day cruise on the Getaway. No issue at all, I packed it in one of our checked bags. For added safety I kept the batteries in fireproof bags. Unfortunately we didn't have great water conditions with the exception of Barbados
  11. One of the perks of being in the Haven or a Suite. Go to the Haven lounge (depending on ship). One of the concierge's or butlers will take you down (and back up)
  12. Here's a Haven Secret or maybe not so secret. On the Getaway don't book Haven Spa Balcony 14140. The cabin is fine, the location is not. The cabin is across the hall from the main forward crew only access. From 6pm - 10pm the crew door is constantly opening a closing, and when it closes it slams shut. And since your cabin door is in a little alcove the room stewards leave a cart right next to it CLIP 1080.mov
  13. My wife and I were on the January 8th cruise of the GA. Did you make it to the DR?
  14. On our last cruise I was talking with another passenger on a sea day. For whatever reason I was feeling a little motion sickness and I put the relief band on. The guy ask what it was, I told him and he laughed at the price and said he would never pay that much ($150). About 30 minutes later he asked if he could try it since he didn't feel too well. Within 2 minutes he felt much better, he took it off and gave it back to me. He came to me about an hour later looking really green and offered me $500 cash for my band Lol... (I declined) I just ordered the rechargeable one for my birthday https://amzn.to/3E9W5un
  15. I would have paid an extra $50 NOT to stop in Norfolk
  16. Kind of strange, you don't just loose a 20 ton anchor Lol
  17. All ships have stabilizers even the smaller ones. One buddies father has a 55ft boat that has them
  18. Years ago a bought a Reliefband for a friend of mine who was going thru chemo. The effects were immediate, overall it worked very well. In the past few years I bought my wife and I pair. I'm a long time boater who never had an issue with motion sickness on my boat. On cruise ships its happened a few times. They are a little pricy but work very well https://amzn.to/3E3hs0k
  19. Looks like they crammed in so more loungers in Vibe. Never seen that many there
  20. Any idea what happened to the anchor? Did they loose one?
